You can’t imagine how thrilled I was (am) to find it after all these years.. my absolute favorite is on scrambled eggs plus other things but scrambled eggs is number one. Please don’t ever disappear again. Not only the taste is exceptional actually one of a kind I don’t think can be duplicated, but it brings back childhood memories with my mother and I we both loved it on scrambled eggs and like I said other things too, but I am enjoying my three bottles and it seems like I’ll probably have to buy more so thanks Bennett’s You made this customer happy.

Bought this item a month ago. - Yes, packaging horrible, one bottle arrived broken. The 5 stars is strictly for the sauce itself, if I rated the packaging it would only get 1 star. However, I wanted to see how the taste of the sauce manufactured by the new company compared to our memories. I made our traditional dip recipe ( one bottle sauce, 2 T. horseradish, 1 t. worchestershire) and we serve it with cheese and crackers. Made it for Thanksgiving so I got a lot of opinions. After the original Bennett's wasn't made any longer, I tried various chili sauce mixes but they all fell short. Everyone who tasted the dip mix made by the new company felt it was the closest thing to the original Bennett's, except a few thought it tasted a little sweeter than they remembered. The new company does sell the sauce in stores, but it looks like they are all in the Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota area.

I have been purchasing this product for many years. I will not make a meatloaf without it. It adds a ton of flavor to ground meat recipes, sandwiches, soups, etc. My only complaint is the cost but I cannot purchase it at Publix as they have discontinued selling it.

A review is somewhat pointless i think. If you know this product you know why its so great. I use it exclusively for Brisket. I am led to believe is excellent for sloppy Joe. I only wish it were available more often.

I grew up in Baltimore, the home of Bennett’s Chili Sauce. A bottle was always in my mother’s pantry. It was a wonderful product. Straight from the bottle it was perfect for hamburgers, meatloaf, and pot roast; mixed with mayonnaise it became a great thousand-island dressing; mixed with horseradish it was a tasty cocktail sauce which with the addition of some mayonnaise became perfect for making shrimp salad or as a substitute for an “oscar” sauce. After I left Baltimore, when my local grocery stores could no longer get it, I ordered it by the case. Then it became unavailable from any source. I occasionally checked the internet to see if ever became available. Finally, it did and it is a good as ever. For those who grew up in Baltimore, it will bring back fond memories; for the rest, you will not be disappointed.
