It is far better in every way over the Bunn pots I have used for years. So easy to set up, beautiful to use and look at. Coffee good and fast to brew. I discovered that a number 2 filter fits the drip screen perfectly. Coffee tastes good, smells wonderful and a great pot of coffee to wake up to in the morning.

I've had it a few months now and it seems to work just as well as the mister coffee one it is replacing. Color is cute. Easy to clean.

It's taller than my old coffee maker, so I cannot easily open/close the lid under the kitchen cabinets...a minor inconvenience. The lid is a bit flimsy, and the "chrome" is plastic so it feels and looks cheaper in person. I also am not a huge fan of the filter. I loved the idea of a reusable one to reduce waste, but it does let a decent amount of residue build up for that last cup at the bottom of the pot. It does stay nice and hot and is a good value for the price point.

My experience using this coffee maker for two years was frustrating. It wouldn’t ruin your morning with bad coffee full of grounds and coffee pouring onto your counter EVERY day, just some of the time.It has some sort of design flaw that INTERMITTENTLY causes the grounds to overflow the filter, clogging the spring stopper at the bottom of the filter basket. The pot of coffee ends up with grounds in it, and if you attempt to pour a cup at the end of the brewing cycle on the days when this problem happens, the clogged stopper allows coffee to run down onto the burner and onto the counter.The problem seemed to happen less often if I made only 8 cups instead of 10, but it would still happen. The spring stopper was not damaged or broken, testing it with just water and no grounds, everything sealed correctly. I always used the same (correct) amount of grounds for the amount of water.I finally concluded that it had to be something about how the hot water enters the filter basket, perhaps too fast? Not sure. But after putting up with these intermittent failures for too long, I bought a different brand. It’s hard to find 10 cup drip makers with #4 cone filters. I’m writing this review enjoying a fresh cup of coffee with no grounds in it from my new machine, while this Haden is in the trash.

Love this coffee maker. I picked it mostly for the color. Its a good buy. Size is nice and the features are nice. Easy to set the alarm etc. Works as it should and looks good!

I’ve been a cuisinart die hard for over 25 years but with my last two malfunctioning after just six months I’d had enough.. I bought the Hayden kettle and toaster to replace my older units and decided to add this nice retro punch of colour to my kitchen and was not disappointed. My coffee maker arrived two days ago and off the top I’m so glad to have a coffee carafe that doesn’t drip when pouring!!!!! This unit is well made the buttons press nicely like a high end appliance. The brew time is amazing and the coffee is smooth and has its full body ( yes I’m a coffee gal). I’ve tried both Starbucks and Folgers in this coffee maker and BOTH came up lovely even though the latter is a cheaper product you would never know it!!! The coffee itself is piping hot… perfect.. just be careful taking your first sip!!!
Gorgeous coffee maker
I originally purchased the black and copper one as my husband thought the white one would get stained over time. However, when I received the black one I just knew it wasn't my vibe. I'll be getting the GE cafe series oven and fridge and the white/copper will match that perfectly. They had great customer service and allowed me to send the other item back for an exchange at not cost to me. Now I have the white/copper one and it is a work of art sitting on my countertop. It also works really well - very fast. I will just have to wipe it down regularly so it doesn't stain.
Nice, but not for us
We chose to give this coffee pot a try after our beloved coffeemaker of over 20 years gave up the ghost - particularly the start/program button. Anyhow, on our search we were hoping to find a white coffee maker which is very difficult, to fit in with our white decor in the kitchen. This is more of an ivory colour (as stated in the description). That wasn't all. We were happy it did not beep - but the cord to the wall was black, not white like the rest of the machine. Also, the a.m./p.m. option was odd. There was no AM or PM showing - just the clock display for am, then in the pm a small white dot would show up. We were very used to the regular AM/PM like you would see on any device, particularly one that you want to program. That was the deal breaker for us. It also didn't look as modern as the rest of our appliances (yes, it has a retro look, so if that's your thing), and well, we opted for a different brand and we love the choice we made. The coffee in the Haden was okay, the coffee in the pot we actually prefer and bought was GREAT! and the beep when the coffee is done is not a big deal for us. I think it just came down to personal preference. The Haden coffee maker simply wasn't for us. For others it could be their own little bit of heaven.
Worst Ever!
The media could not be loaded. I can't believe I paid this amount for the quality of this coffee pot :( our temporary $20 dollar store coffee pot is 100% better (except I wanted the time to brew programmable).......waiting on the seller to review my return request, hopefully!I tried to give the benefit of the doubt reading reviews, but - I wasted time shipping and receiving it, and the money!1) the coffee is warm, not hot, warm!2) it takes literally 10 mins to brew 8 cups!3) second pot brewed this morning, the water almost got stuck somewhere? There was two cups in the carafe, the filter was full and no water in the tank?!?4) it gushed and shot and splashed and leaked everywhere, coffee and grounds!!!5) the 30 secs stop flow feature, obviously doesn't exist. So I couldn't even pull out the carafe to clean up the spilt over flowed coffee and grounds from the hot plate!Don't buy, stupid price for a pot of mess everywhere!
Hard to say
This is the most beautiful coffee pot- to look at. I love all things retro blue like this. I have many kitchen items that color. This coffee pot however I’ve now had for a year and a half and I would not recommend if you want something that lasts. It doesn’t hold up like the old coffee pots. I have to clean it often and still it takes half an hour to brew 6 cups. It’s ridiculous. The amount of water loss to steam is nuts too. We have to put about a cup over what we want so we get the right amount. I wish it was beautiful and functional but I can’t say that. I also use filtered water in it and no change compared to the house water. I do love its large pot capacity as well.
