I really wanted a cost friendly matcha that was ceremonial grade. I was amazed by the bright green color and was even more amazed by the taste. This matcha definitely has a slight bitter taste but in a very delicious way. I would like to say I’m no pro but the flavor strength was so good! I put about a half tsp and it’s so strong! The texts also very good, it’s not grainy at all! I love this so much!!!!

Heavens Yes!I ordered the Barista because from the description the Teahouse was sweeter but I actually like the slight bitter bite of green tea. I don’t even sweeten it so I’m a true matcha lover. It’s great. Fresh perfectly Kermit the Frog green (the teahouse version should be a bit darker usually) and most importantly as I’m super in tune with my body, my body loves it. You just feel great when you drink it instantly separate from the caffeine. I think it’s your body recognizing the amazing nutrition. In case you didn’t know matcha is rich in polyphenols like catechins- powerful antioxidants in addition to chlorophyll and quercetin! Great for inflammation and allergies. Oh and there’s L-Theanine too which has many benefits!What’s not to love?Watch your sugars Loves.This is great in lattes but I have yet to bake with it. I personally use it just with water, with organic 2% milk sometimes, but most of the time unsweetened coconut milk. 🍵

This is a quality Matcha for the low price. Has body and taste and isn't very bitter. A good everyday matcha at a very fair price.

I would have given 5 stars for this product, because the first purchase that i made, had really sold me on this brand. I found the first order to be of high quality. It was smooth, blended well and mildly flavorful. however the second purchase was not quite the same quality. It was definitely a lower quality batch, the second time around, it had slight bitter aftertaste and a little chalky. I am not a novice matcha drinker, I know how to wisk the traditional way and I alway strain the powder before mixing to reduce clumping, and I am aware of the optimal water temperature for mixing. I am debating on whether or not to purchase it a third time or to try another high quality brand.

Tastes delicious both hot and cold! The texture is smooth, it mixes easily and has a good depth of flavor.

good amount for the price and has a nice bright green color, but i find this matcha to be a little bitter and grainy. i’ve been having to add a little sugar in addition to the flavor syrup i use to get rid of some of the bitterness. i also have not been able to get rid of the powdery/grainy texture. i sift, use hot water, and whisk with a bamboo whisk (abt 2 mins) but it still has that unpleasant texture

The price, the weight and the quality in taste are hard to match. I have tested most matchas on the market for professional reasons. This one holds up.
