I’m not into screamy metal until this band. They are heavy but have a good melody in each song. Only one song I’m not that into but will still listen too. Please Avatar tour with ghost and omg that would be the best concert ever!

I needed a second copy of Hunter Gatherer since I couldn't listen to my first copy without it skipping so much. I love Avatar so much I listen to them more than any other band I like. I already have their new one Dance Devil Dance my only complaint is that the songs are not six minutes long like A Secect Door. I am finally going to get to see Avatar live! I will not pass on them a second time. Johannes Eckerstrom is easily thee best frontman ever and he is thee most gorgeous man I have ever seen whether he has dark hair or his natural blond and I still find him to be gorgeous when he wears the makeup.

Good album that starts really strong, just like "Hail the Apocalypse". Definitely reccomend. My only issue w/ these guys is what exactly are they trying to be. A serious band w/ a unique sound(& look) I hope. Every album has songs that prove they can write & play exceptional but at times some of their stuff wanders off & it seems like your in a crazy circus.

I had never heard of this band until I saw them live in concert about a month ago. Immediately my son and husband looked and me saying how much they loved them. I bought this as a gift for my son that moment and he loves listening to it.

This is probably top 3 as far as Avatar albums go, it will be hard for them to beat Feathers & Flesh! Colossus, Justice and Wormhole really stuck out for me. All songs are great however except for Gun... That would have been better as a B side or bonus track.... it broke up the Vibe of the album which is much heavier than the recent albums.As for the actual product, Bolo fails to tell you what you are actually buying. This was a colored 180g vinyl and there is a download code for the digital version bundled in the packaging.

Although not my favorite Avatar CD, it is still very good. All songs on this CD are worthy, just not as 'get you hooked' as Let it Burn or Hail the Apocalypse. My faves on this so far are Colossus, God of Sick Dreams and Silence in the Age of Apes. Only one I really don't care for is Gun.

All 10 songs on this album are absolute beasts with their trademark heavy riffage giving a nod to their melodic death metal roots but with so many twists. Nobody can switch from death metal style growls to melodic, clean vocals as effortlessly as Johannes but it is on the piano & strings led track ‘Gun’ that his clean vocals shine and I defy anyone not to get goosebumps listening to this song and it’s lyrics. Musically the band are all on top form on this album; you want heavy? They deliver. You want melody? They deliver. You want guitar solos? They deliver. This is a quality metal album from beginning to end and should appeal to fans of melodic death metal bands such as In Flames, Dark Tranquility, Arch Enemy etc, or more mainstream metal bands such as Lamb of God, Machine Head, A7X etc. I heartily recommend it! 🤘

Avatarのスタイルを簡単に説明が出来ない。メタルの中でたまにデスっぽいと言われていても、普通のデスメタルバンドと違う。しかし、このアルバムなら暗くて重い雰囲気があってもっともデスっぽいかもしれない。JusticeとColossusが特に気に入った。レコードの封筒は素敵だが傷つけやすい。帰国したらトランクに入れてコーナーが折ってしまった。フレッシュで独自なメタルが好きな人に特におすすめ。
