I recommend soaking the coil with dawn and water for a day or so and, if you have an air compressor, blow them out. Also, use a thin blade to straighten out the fins...I know it's a lot of work, but, believe me, it is worth the effort. THEN, when you spray this on you will be impressed with how much more it cleans out..in our case the fins are a shiny as new. Now, this ain't cheap and that's why I did a lot of prep; BUT, it is worth the work and the price.

This stuff is AMAZING!!! I neglected my portable AC as you can see...but this stuff cleaned it very well!! I also bought some brushes for coils to help with the gooey gunk. But it looks like new and smells great! I'll be cleaning my unit more often now. Im shocked.It took me around 2hrs to clean it. And it still needed to drain a bit more after putting it back together..as you can see there's a bit of orange stuff coming out in the pics. But it's all clean now🤩

It did some cleaning. The spray varied from pencil this to fog spray. Possibly a bad nozzle. I have a 3 tom TRANE and it took all three cans to cover the internal fins of the condenser/fan module. It looked cleaner but only after I rinsed the foam off. Definitely less work than expected and will do annually. Will check competitors, too.

I'm ashamed to admit it but I honestly didn't believe cleaning an HVAC unit was real. A few years ago our AC wasn't blowing as cold as I thought it should and found that cleaning the front thingy, fins and whatever, really was necessary. I'm not the type to pay someone to clean or repair something if I should be able to do it on my own, so I gave this stuff a try. I was shocked by the difference on the fins on the front of our HVAC unit! We live in a heavily wooded area with LOTS of oak and pine trees. The pollen in the spring is beyond thick. Between pollen and summer "dust", the HVAC unit gets covered in gunk. This product foams it all off.I've always been bothered by the smell that the heat makes when we first turn it on in the fall. I've been assured that it's normal, just "burning" the gunk off. When I use this in the fall, it cleans all the gunk off so there's nothing to "burn" off and no disturbing burning smell blowing around my house.

Worked great. Thought I was going to have to replace that window unit, but after 2 applications the coils were all cleaned out and A/C now works great.

It's hard to fully evaluate. It smells pleasant. I guess it did what its suppose to do. One can will cover an average unit with a heavy application.

It is easy to use and gets the job done. I wore old cloths, a hat, goggles and gloves. I did not take the top off the AC unit, but sprayed through the vents. The spray stream is very strong and went right through the vents. When I hosed down the unit there was a lot of back splash, and my cloths got quite wet. I do not know how much was water and how much was spray. I discarded my cloths and will never do this again. It's a job for the pros.
