I really like that this iron is cordless. I keep the base near my pressing mat and just lift the iron out to press my quilt pieces. Not having to work around a cord is nice! The iron holds heat for over 30 seconds, and when put back into the base, reheats quickly. It's not heavy, seems to be well made, and is comfortable to use. I don't use the steam feature, so I can't say if it leaks or not, but I think it's a good value for the money and works as advertised.

I love that it's wireless, however I don't feel it keeps the heat as a normal plug in one would. I do love that it turns itself off even if you haven't turned the knob (I've forgot a couple times to turn it off). FYI: If you don't hear the iron *click* the iron won't warm up.

Ok, I was skeptical about a cordless iron, but having space issues, I really wanted to try one. Some of the irons offered were very expensive, so I thought I would just try this one. It does work well! I love the sleek design. I have not used the steam feature yet so I can't attest to the steam quality. I do like the safety features such as Auto shut off. I think it is best for quick touch ups and small sewing/pressing projects, rather than a full out Iron/laundry session. I ironed two shirts with it, I did have to put it back on the charger frequently, but once I repositioned the shirt and got the iron out again, it was hot enough, so I believe the ironing ability is very nice. I plan to use it mostly at home, but the cute and convenient storage case will make it useful for traveling. I love the cord storage compartment. It is big enough to get the cord in with struggling. I am very pleased with purchase.

I love the idea of a cordless iron! It solves the issue of the iron cord getting in the way during ironing of large items like quilting yardage, tablecloths and sheets (to kill house dust mites). Unfortunately, the convenience of cordless comes at the cost of time waiting for the iron to recharge. You can only iron or press for a couple of minutes or a few passes before needing to stop and recharge the iron again. It takes far longer to use this iron than to just deal with an iron cord.If you are a quilter who just wants to press one seam at a time on smaller quilt blocks, one block at a time, then this iron works. If you need to press an entire row of quilt blocks or a section of quilt blocks, then the frequent re-charging will get very tiresome for you. Especially if you're trying to hurry.I don't like the limitations of this iron and will switch back to corded.

I bought this iron a few months ago and I have only used it a couple times. It won’t stay hot for more than a minute or so after sitting, turned on, on the base for about 10 mins. Also, the iron grew some black stuff on the bottom and we can’t remove them. We tried everything. What a bad buy that was.

well, I did absolutely love this iron! not long after I bought 1,I bought my mother in-law 1.unfortunately, it's not working correctly now and if course it's passed the the return window 😞#1, when I 1st fill it with water (to the suggested line) it starts leaking out the bottom.. once you let it steam off a bit, it stops leaking BUT once ur almost out of water, it starts leaking again.. I'm so frustrated bc I loved this thing & would have given it as many stars as possible!#2, when you put it on the charger, a little red light on the iron itself turns on to show it's charging & u hear a little click. now all a sudden half the time it won't click on to charge (that's kinda on & off. sometimes it's just fine and sometimes it isn't)I hate return windows bc I didn't have it that long. it was like end of March or beginning of April & the issues are no fault of my own

no sirve como plancha inalámbrica
el diseño me gustó, pero realmente lo que deben explicar dentro de sus características es que dura 30 segundos caliente, la ofrecen como inalámbrica y en realidad no lo es, trae un cable que se conecta a la luz y es como planchar normalmente, apenas la quitas de su base y ya se enfrío. No cumple su función como inalámbrica, para eso mejor usar una plancha convencional o las que ofrecen en los hoteles si fuera de viaje.
Estresante!!
Hay que estar esperando a que vuelva a calentar, no me adapto a ella!!
