There is no mess to clean up. The corn stripper cleans up by running water over the bottom side cutter and the inside of the container. It is best to use an oven glove when handling the hot cooked cob of corn.As a new customer you will have to learn to select the corn you buy to an optimal size so your container gets full kernels of corn. I use my middle finger and thumb wrapped around the lower end of the corn cob in the husk. My optimal size is my thumb and middle finger wrapped around a cob of corn in the husk to have a finger width gap between the finger tip and my thumb, I am an average size person and wear a large size rubber glove.

This corn-stripper works beautifully!!! I dislike eating corn ON the cob and this device peels the kernels off with no effort! Now I don't hesitate to make many recipes of corn on the cob, whether on the stove or on the grill. I am certain I will utilize its other functions as well. It was inexpensive, compact, and made well. And YES, I would buy this product again.

This corn stripper comes with a "gripper" for pushing the corn through the cutter. It broke in half the very first time I tried to use it. So then what? Mash the corn cob though the cutter with the bottom of your hand? I got out my stainless steel hammer and whacked it through, quite effectively. However, I don't imagine that's what the manufacturer had in mind. (It didn't come with a hammer.)It's well built (except for the gripper), but I'm skeptical how useful it will be. There may be better ways to remove the corn from the cob. Nice grater, though.

This thing stripped the corn so fast and so easily! I used to cut fresh corn off the cob with a knife like my mom did, but this was way easier and very fast! I bought it because my granddaughter has braces and can’t eat corn off the cob and my daughter liked it so much I let her have it and I’ll buy another one for me.

Easy To Use
This product is as it states and much easier than cutting corn off the cobb with a knife. Not much force required and the cobbs are left totally stripped of the niblets.
