Works great! Purchased It in August and it has a pretty fast read speed. Faster than the Taylor thermometer which is why I bought it. The Taylor was much slower. Also the length helps me when I’m checking temperature of chicken on the grill, my hands don’t get too hot. The quality is great. I love that the battery is a AAA battery, lasts very long. It’s accurate as far as I know! Definitely worth the price.

This is one of the best products I've bought on Bolo. Although I don't make candy, I make my own probiotics and prebiotics, where accurate temperatures are critical for optimal culturing. The long probe is great for checking the internal temperature of meats once they're removed from the oven. The display is large and easy to read...a plus for anyone with vision problems. I'm very happy with this thermometer.

We LOVE the big display! It easily clips onto the side of your pot and that easy read display is, well..easy! Primarily, we use this thermometer when we process our chickens. The long shaft is great for getting deeper in the water when temperature a accuracy is crucial! Easy to ready display and easy to use, what more could you want?

Very good thermometer. It is easy to read and accurate. Very well constructed too. I like it so much i bought 3.
Don't melt the plastic or put it under water
I read many reviews and they should not say it is resistant to water from what I can gather. I have only used it once to make hard crack candy and it worked perfectly. I didn't bother calibrating it and it may have been one or two degrees off but it works well enough and is much better than any candy thermometer I have used in the past. The clip attaches securely.
