This kit is great. Just cut to size, set everything up and you have the frame ready. The pieces have the rubber splines in them already so that's a bonus: just go buy the roll of mesh screen at your local hardware store or walmart where I got mine and you can once again have a functional window that lets air in while keeping flying critters out

Product arrived on time, but several dents in the metal were seen. I had deliberately ordered longer than I needed as was able to work around the dents.You do need to make your measurements a bit smaller than I expected to be able to work the finished screen into the slots. Definitely test the fit before you fit the actual screening material into the frame. The plastic corners fit well into the metal. At first I thought they might be a bit loose, but once the screen material is added it holds everything together well.BTW, there is spline already in the spline groove in the metal frame pieces, which worked great with nylon screen.

Used these to make screens for large windows in our house. Much cheaper than paying a company to make them. And very easy to do. I do recommend putting a stabilizer bar in the center of the screen if it is larger (ours was 48” long). Otherwise it will bow in. I have made five screens so far with these and plans to make more. Finally I can open my windows without worrying about getting bit by mosquitoes

I bought two sets of these to replace the screens on my three small basement windows. Bought an extra set of corners from the same vendor. I could get one length and one width from each piece, so I had enough for 4 windows. Screen fit perfectly into frame using a screen roller tool. Trimmed with knife. I cut to length on miter saw, since they are make of aluminum, and de-burred. Also had to buy extra springs for the third window. They supply four frame pieces, the spline, 2 springs, and 4 corners, and 2 handles with each set. I recommend 1/4" (6mm) clearance on the spring side, and 1/8" clearance on the non-spring side. Springs insert into frame just prior to installing the corners. Handles are inserted into spline groove under the screen and spline. They all worked great, no problems. Be sure to measure every window and don't assume they are identical. (ask me how I know!) Screen not included.

My frame pieces arrived with a significant bend at once end. Luckily I needed to cut it down and the bend was on the scrap section. Overall it seems decent quality and all pieces were present. I found the assembly instructions pretty lacking, so I expect anyone new to this sort of thing might be confused, especially since the spline comes packed into the groove.

Good product, does what it says
Very easy to cut and set up, very pleased with this purchase. Just wish there was an option to get more corner fittings . All my upper windows are smaller and would have liked to be able to buy extra fittings.
