It is a good thickness and comfortable enough for an extended period of time. Like the elastic band that came with it to make it easily storable once rolled up. The mat is of good quality and worth what was paid for it. I am 5'9" and it is large enough for my exercise routines. Like that it was available in custom colors like purple which I selected. Would recommend and buy again if needed.

Love this mat! No smell when first opening (which is always a plus). The mat is very thick compared to most yoga mats. Perfect for stretching or Yin yoga where you hold poses for a longer period of time. I also find it much easier to do floor yoga and pilates with the improved cushioning.Highy recommend,

I was looking for a nice, cushiony yoga mat for my old knees! This one has worked great. The dimensions are good. The quality, so far, is good as well and I've enjoyed exercising on this mat. The only negative is that it did have a strong chemical odor when I first received it, but I unrolled it and let it air out for a couple of days and the odor disappeared. I would recommend this mat.

Not exactly one inch. I was skeptical so the first thing I did was measure it. That being said, it's still thicker than regular mats so that's a win. I have low body fat percentage so regular mats feel like hard floor. This mat is soft enough that it doesn't hurt on my knees or my tailbone but still dense enough that I'm not sinking into the mat even when I'm pressing against. Overall it's great!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this mat because of its thickness, the color and the great price. It arrived so quickly too! The thickness is what really sold me, as I suffer from arthritis. It’s not easy finding thick mats, but this seller had them!! I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful seller!!

This mat is a great value for anyone but perfect for those of us that have joint issues. The 1” soft thickness provides a comfortable buffer between the hard floor and relives some pressure off the wrists and knees in down dog, table, low lunge and other poses. Construction quality holds up to daily sessions. Lays flat with ease when unrolled.

Cancerous
The box where the yoga mat comes in, has a big Warning about the product being made with cancerous material. How can Bolo sell these type of product without checking if its totally safe?
