The media could not be loaded. Easy installation and paired really fast with our Alexa smart home via their iPhone app. Great dimming capability as well if you're looking for that function (you can also set it to turn the light on/off without dimming). Overall really happy with the switch!

For those who have issues pairing, there are Two buttons at the bottom. Left is the reset while the right one is the pair. Manual isn’t very helpful. When you first power on, there will be a blue wifi led blinking very fast. To pair via wifi perform the following.Press the left then the right buttons at the bottom of the switch. Then the on/off button (circle in the middle of switch) should blink blue once then the wifi led will start to blink very fast. After that, hold the on/off button for 7-10 seconds until the wifi led starts to blink slowly. This will allow you to pair via wifi.Go to smart life app, click the plus sign at the top right then add device. Then click Switch (wi-FI). Click next then “confirm the indicator is blinking rapidly.” Then click “blink slowly”. It will then prompt you to connect to the device’s wifi. Find and pair it. Then go back to the app and wait for it to connect. After that it should be good.The switch defaults to it blinking very fast and this doesn’t help with pairing (who knows why).But anyways I’m sure someone will find this helpful. It was difficult to figure it out the first time. 3 months later mine reset itself so there goes me trying to figure it out again. Overall switch works great.Update on 01-18-2023:Switch reset on me once again and was removed from my smart life app. I think it crapped out on me and I’m not able to pair it again. Already ordered a replacement from another company. Do not purchase!!!

So my neighbor installed for me (God bless him) so I can’t comment on that but having a dimmer on my bedside sconces and overhead chandelier is the bomb.I can lower the light level and it’s a great nightlight without disturbing your sleep.Big fan!

Works well with Alexa but it is sometimes impossible to turn on manually. Touching the center to power on is difficult if not impossible at times.I unknowingly was using non dimmable LEDs and they would dim and brighten correctly but would have a constant flicker. Once I realized they were non flickering bulbs, I purchased Phillip eye comfort non flickering dimmable LED bulbs on here and this seems to have resolved the flickering issue.Just a note that my light fixture uses 5 standard size light bulbs and they all work correctly with this switch.

As others have said, these switches are not good. While they did pair and work okay with the app, the actual use of the switch is not good. You have to precisely place your finger right in the center of the switch to operate it. On top of that, the switch would not work after sitting idle for a few hours. Once you control it with the app then it starts working again. The connection wires are short too. Don't waste your time or money.

The media could not be loaded. Won’t pair. Followed instructions to reset but still no blinking light.Update: the blinking light is very faint. Finally saw it in the dark.

Wired the smart dimmer switch into the wall and when I switch the breaker on the blue light flashes but by the time my WiFi resets the switch is no longer in pairing. There is no way to reset this thing without turning off the breaker. I have tried everything. Not once has it connected in the app. My Alexa recognizes them but they are unresponsive. I tried Holding power button. Turning on and off multiple times. The little button by the light indicator. The switch works fine manually. I’m so frustrated I could scream. These are complete junk. Do not buy them!!!

I bought two. One couldn’t connect to the network so they shipped me a replacement for a total of 3.Less than a year later, none could connect to the network.Failure rate within 1 month: 33% (1/3)Failure rate within 12 months: 100% (3/3)Dimming below 15% caused my LEDs to flicker. I had assumed the problem was the LEDs, but when I replaced the dimmer with a different brand and the same LEDs remain solid down to 1% without flickering.
