In my experience, it's hard to judge shoes until you get to see how long they last. But so far, I couldn't be more pleased with the quality for the money that I paid. They don't claim to be "waterproof", just resistant, but I have had dry feet after walking long distances in fairly wet conditions, which was a pleasant surprise. Now for the test of time. I'll update this review after I get back from Peru in October.

I just returned from a 2-mile "maiden voyage" walk using these walking shoes. They are comfortable with nicely padded soles and adequate arch support. Time will tell how well they hold up after multiple walks.The shoe runs small for its nominal size. My foot is size 12-1/2 and I typically wear a size 13 hiking boot or Nike running shoe. So, I ordered size 13 but I discovered that size 13 in this shoe corresponds to size 11, which is far too small.I re-ordered size 14, which corresponds to a size 13 Nike running shoe. Problem solved. Be prepared to re-order due to inaccurate size. But the shoe quality is reasonable for the price.

I have been looking for a waterproof lightweight sneaker for a long time. I have bought snd returned four different pair on Bolo, I finally found the one that is perfect.. I walk through long wet grass for hours and my feet are completely dry. They’re lightweight and very comfortable. I give them 10 star.

They are light weight, and decent, I definitely recommend changing the insole. The "memory foam" is like walking on concrete and has very little support in the arches. Overall they look good and build well.

Fit was OK - the rest - NOT. Wore them a few days at work (indoors) to get used to them before using them outside. First time outside - walked less than 100 yards across wet grass and my socks and both feet were soaked. My first mistake was buying them and my second was wanting to get the last mile out of my Columbia shoes before using these 6 weeks later. I should have known - so that was my bad. Nonetheless I suggest you do not make the same mistake I made - assuming they are waterproof. Certainly the pair I bought was not. Very disappointed.

The insole feels bumpy when you first try them on but after walking awhile the memory foam smooths out. They feel a little stiffer than other sneakers but this is not uncomfortable when walking.
