This memory stick, It has a CONNETOR built in and that is a forgiving thing, no extra step (adapter) is needed Plus it is a memory stick as well.Thus, I wish I could find the same for type 2.0 to move data from an old galaxy phone but I did not find the same as this one.. Not yetHowever, it worked very well, just insert it into the type C android and copy your pictures, data and can do the same backwards : copy data from the stick(THIS TYPE) into the phone..5 STARS from me

I have been using this for about a week without any issues on the C and A ports on multiple machines. I can't achieve the throughput rates advertized but based on reasearch it seems like that is a Windows 10 issue not the drive hardware. Based on the reports published the same USB drive works at advertized speeds using Windows 7. Hopefully Microsoft has fixed this in 11 and will go back and fix it in 10. The issue I found across 5 different USB drives (actually any drive tagged as external) the speed will run up to 20/25mps then decrease sometimes down to zero then increase and decrease in a cycle sometimes sitting at 0 for a couple seconds. This was tested on an Alienware R1 and an MSI GE76 with he same results. The issue does not seem to be small and large files since I tested with a mix of both. Unfortunately, nothing I read indicated if it's a driver or OS issue.

Sandisk memory zone app for iPhone is not supported on this device. You have to use Apple Files to transfer from phone to computer. Plus each file has to be converted in order to view contents of file on computer. Quite cumbersome to convert especially photos. Device has large storage but not ideal for use. Don’t believe Sandisk will update app.

This is a great little drive. We're using it for storing YouTube and Instagram videos and stock footage for b-roll. It has great storage space, and is transferring data seamlessly from and Apple iPad, to an IPhone, an Android phone and a windows based laptop. No issues have been found, and I'm ordering another.

I was trying to move music from my computer to my phone. Computer has an A slot. Phone has a C. This drive was exactly what I needed. I could have used transfer cord but not I also have another back up to some favorite music.
