I prefer the scent (sort of a "barber shop" aroma) over the original lemon and of course the price is way better.

I was a little worried they wouldn't fit right or would give me a shave like a rusty lawnmower, but nope! Popped one in, and it was like my shaver was brand new again. Smooth, close shave, no nicks, no irritation – just pure, unadulterated facial bliss. My face feels great, my wallet feels a little less empty, and I don't look like I've been wrestling a badger every morning.If you're tired of shelling out big bucks for shaver refills, give these replacement carts a shot. You (and your face) won't regret it!

I've been using the Braun clean and renew system for these shavers for over 15 years or so and have always used genuine Braun cartridges. I accidentally ordered these Clark Shaver brand cartridges and quickly realized what I didn't like about them. That plastic cap that was peeled off the new cartridge that is used to cover and seal up the openings of the used-up dirty cartridge being removed is nonexistent on the Clarks. You cannot use that foil tape again, so you're left to either dispose of the used cartridge with the dirty fluid in it now loose in your trash bin or dump it in the sink or toilet, making that dirty. And it doesn't just dump out all at once; it takes several attempts to get enough of it out to toss the cartridge without a mess in the bin, or leaking, etc. Is that a big deal? Not really, but it's not as convenient as the other. Just be aware of it. I'll be double checking future orders.

These cartridges can be expensive, to the point where you may just stop using a perfectly good razor. The Clark Refill Cartridges for Braun Clean & Renew offers a more cost-effective option and works just as well. Lets put it into perspective. At Walmart, 4 Braun Clean and Renew Cartridges will set you back around $33. Four of these Clark Refill Cartridges will only set you back about $20, and do just as good of a job. Of course, now that I have shared this secret, I better stock up.

I just started using these to clean my shaver. They have a stronger alcohol smell than the Braun ones. So far, they seem to clean alright. A few reviewers have indicated that there is not sufficient lubricant for the shaver head in the solution. I have not experienced this yet. I'll have to update my review in a month or so after I have more experience using it.
