It’s supposed to guide the calcium to the bones instead of the bloodstream. I found out I have osteoporosis a couple of years ago and was told to take this along with the calcium and Vitamin D every night. No side effects for me. Very small black gel like pill. Easy peasy! No taste, quality is consistent. Ingredients seem simple. Have had no problems.
