I have caught 6 mice and a vole in only 2 days!! Just a small smear of peanut butter in the back and they go right in! No injured or dead rodents to clean up! I actually came upon two of them curled up and sleeping in the traps. The only problem I have had is trying to open the back of the trap with gloves on to get them out as I can'tget a good grip. But these are worth the money!!

Forgot to take a picture because I was in a hurry to get them out of my house, but the trap worked great within just two hours I caught one. and they’re super easy to set up.

The media could not be loaded. Works great. I caught 3 mice the first night and did not know for sure if I had mice in the house. I marked it down to 4 stars because there was supposed to be a cleaning brush included but it was not sent to me. Easy to use and effective with peanut butter as bait. Door is a little sticky but not too hard to use. I love that they are safe for my little dogs to be around. I will keek using these traps.

These work great. We use peanut butter with spicy Cheetos, rits crackers, or sugar from honey roasted nuts. Easy to let them out without touching them. I've ordered another brand twice now that last about a year before the spring breaks. Let's see how these do.Stupid arguments my husband had about me buying these:"They'll just come right back in!"... Not if I let them out at the park several blocks away."Some bird or a snake will just eat them so they're going to die anyway!"... Then at least another animal gets to eat. What good is just throwing a carcass out in the trash??

OMG, I thought I would end up with something that wouldn't work right. But once I set and placed them they started catching mice very fast. So easy to clean, just pull the food holder out and run a wash rag through a few times from the door end. It's so quiet we aren't woken up hearing the bar snap trap go off. Good quality plastic makes these worth the money.I would recommend them to anyone who has a mouse problem.

Dear Wanqueen (and other live-trap users)I have been using a similar mousetrap (almost identical) and have found that washing the trap after each catch increases my chances of catching the next victim.The odor emitted from a scared Mouse is horrible. Maybe it's their urine.After each catch the trap stinks! I believe that other mice avoid the trap. That is why after I wash it with soap and water and catch another mouse much more quickly. When I don't wash it, it takes longer to catch the next mouse.Their manual says to clean the trap of odors. Word. Nice of them to create such a well worded manual.However, when I received this 4-pack, one of the traps "fulcrum" was loose inside the trap tunnel and there was no Spring to trip the mechanism.I AM TRYING TO CONTACT WANQUEEN to have them send me a spring and I'll just put it in place.Whaddaya say Wanqueen?Wanna send me a tiny little spring so I can get this thing working.One caveat to this live trap! Some mice try to chew their way out through the air holes in the top and get their nose and incisorscaught in the hole and can't get loose. Their little nose swells up, gets very red and they hang there for a while until I can get them free. I use the live mice to feed my chickens and I'll sapre you the details, but that doesn't mean I don't feel sorry for the little scudders! I know it sounds cruel, but the chickens love them and my wife is happy to be rid of some rodents in the house!

They work good except when the plastic clip will no longer hold the door after one use. One of them hasn’t even caught a mouse and will not hold the door.

I've ordered different versions of these I think the brown ones were one of the first ones I ever ordered so I reordered these they're a little bigger than some of the ones that gets the mouse's tails caught in the swing door. I put peanuts in here and catch them all winter long then release them far away from my house so they don't come back hopefully their humane and don't hurt them although I do not like them they give me the willies lol I've never seen the traps come with a sponge and a tong! I'm assuming that's for cleaning and pulling out any debris that gets stuck in there like poop from the mouse I just wash them and put them out to dry then reuse them again!
An excellent mouse trap.
This item was purchased in order to catch mice. It's an excellent product having 100% effect.

Can cut off the tail :-(
Whilst it caught a mouse, wasn't humane..... the tail had been caught in the trap and was severed where the mouse had been trying to get free. Released the mouse and hope it survives. Buy a longer trap so the mouse can go all the way in before it closes up.
