Stanadyne Performance Formula is a multi-functional additive designed for use in all seasons. It has detergents and a cetane improver to restore torque, horsepower, performance, and help improve the fuel economy of your diesel engine. Performance Formula will lubricate and protect the fuel system while helping the water separator remove water from fuel by demulsification. This Stanadyne diesel fuel additive provides cold weather protection, is compatible with B20 biodiesel, is alcohol-free, prevents rust and corrosion of fuel system components, and is exhaust after-treatment safe. Recommended use: 8 oz. to 30 gal.
Stanadyne Injector Cleaner is formulated to prevent and eliminate Internal Diesel Injector Deposits (IDID) commonly found in Common Rail and other types of Injectors. These deposits affect injector performance, which results in various engine-related issues (smoke, rough running, low power, reduced economy). Stanadyne Injector Cleaner also has a cetane improver, lubricity improvers, corrosion prevention, no alcohol, and is similarly compatible with B20 bio-diesel and exhaust after-treatment. Recommended use: 8 oz. to 25 gal.

I use these in my TDI Audi A8L. Easy maintenance option. I use a bottle when I travel for more than 2 hours straight. You don’t really notice any change but hey it doesn’t hurt. I’m fine with the product says it does. Would buy again.

I used this product a couple of years ago to try to help with local fuel economy and I saw no difference, although the injector cleaner did help with power.I decided to try it again on a 2000 mile highway trip to see if it would help defray some of the diesel expense. I was totally blown away with the results. My truck that was averaging 14.5 mpg on the highway jumped up to 19 mpg.If you do a lot of highway driving I highly recommend this stuff. If you do mainly short stop and go driving a bottle of Injector cleaner every couple of months will help maintain power.

I’ve only ever used the injector cleaner, and it’s worked well. This time I used both at the same time - within a quarter of a tank I watched my gas mileage go from 21.6 mpg to nearly 27 mpg and the power is quite noticeable as well.I filled the tank and added both.Unbelievable difference within 75 miles

I received in January 2022, Stanadyne package with 2 Performance Formula (mixed 9-2021) and 2 Injector Cleaner (mixed 8-2020). Best I can determine is shelf life is around 2 years. I’m OK with the date on the Performance Formula, but with only 7 months left, out of 2 years on the Injector Formula…I’m not really feeling that’s OK.I would hope when packaging fuel additives that the manufactured dates would not be a year a part.
