I prefer this type of material to glass. I purchased this brands protector for my Samsung S8 and it lasted until i bought my iphone se. I purchased several glass types for my kids iphones and my iphone se and they either cracked or chipped. I didnt like the se so my wife bought me the 12 and i chose this brand again.

I used IQ Shield Screen Protector on my previous Cell. My newest protector installed just as easily on my new iPhone 12 as it did on my previous phone 3 years ago: I can see no bubbles, scratches or wearing on my previous cell phone IQ Shield Screen protector. I am very happy with this screen protector.

I have been buying these since I found them and they have not let me down. I drop the phone on a trip and the screen hit a rock straight on and the film got torn but the screen did not have a scratch. I buy these for every phone in my household.

All of these protectors are a little tricky to install. That said, this one linked to clear instructions and wasn’t too difficult. Patience is required. I am happy with the protection so far and it cleans easily.

I have had good luck with the tempered glass phone and tablet protectors from this brand, so I ordered in a rush thinking this was the same thing. It is in fact a clear, flexible film. Installing it is a damn nightmare: You have to spray your hands and both sides of the film with a special solution, lay it down, squeegee it, let it dry for a bit, hold down the edges with your palms for 20-30 minutes while it dries more, then leave it for a few hours to cure. I just wanted to put a protector on my new phone before it got any scratches! This was a huge pain, and I had to give up after dust kept sticking to the wet film before I could get it onto the phone.1000 different ways to mess this up, and it requires tons of crafting skill, time, effort, and frustration. There are easier methods, and nearly all of them provide better protection for your phone anyway.
