Easy to operate:
1. Use the tail comb to remove hair knot and tangles, then separate your slightly damp or dry hair into small sections.

3. Wrap it on the hair perm rod, fix it on your head with rubber band.
4. Wait for 30 minutes to 1 hour, you can also use hair dryer or stereotyping water to stereotype the hair curls and waves quickly.
5. Untie the hair perming rod and you can adjust the hair waves as you like.

Good kit for the money. Worked well for my at home perm and I love that it came with end papers. Only thing is the top popped off a few as I was trying to close them- I was able to reattach it to the rubber part without unrolling the whole thing, which was convenient, I just think they'd be a little better if the end of the rubber was slightly bigger so it didn't pop out in the first place

The problem was the rods. Tricky to use, with the end-caps difficult to jam into place. Jam, being the operative word, unfortunately. I've been perming my own hair for many years, but have never encountered this type of rod. Next perm, I'll likely have to do a bit more shopping around. Too bad.
