This product is awful, instructions are bad. It peeled up when I applied clear polish on it. Silk fibers unravel as they are cut. This is absolutely trash. I am considering just cutting all my nails instead of trying to save the one. I may just use the material from a cheap tea bag but I haven't decided yet. But yeah, this ain't it.

My nail ripped down the middle while opening a keyring so I ordered this to help me. The tape itself is a little hard to cut.

I use this to fix my natural nail when it starts to break, which because I'm hard on my nails, happens a lot. Keeps me from having to cut it down and having one short fingernail! I also used to smooth out a nail that has a permanent defect from fake nails used years ago. I cut this a bit larger than needed, I trim the repair piece to have rounded edges. I apply the sticky side to my nail, then apply 1 or two drops of nail glue (not the gel glue type) let dry, then using a very gentle weight nail buffer, buff till smooth. After using my gel polish (I also use a light coat of builder gel) you can't tell I've repaired the break. By using a non removable nail glue, I can remove my gel polish, without removing the repair. Holds up extremely well till the broke area grows out. Definitely recommend.

not an easy product to use if you need a small part it can fall apart , it will harden but unevenly with the glue.it works to cover cracks but hard to use for extensions of nails

Worked perfectly, I had a Crack to middle of my nail, This covered it completely. This silk wrap, does have a paper backing on it, you need to cut to desired length. Then measure to your nail. Then remove the paper backing from the silk wrap. It will stick to your nail. I found it was little easier to trim and file, after I cured and did my nails in gel polish. Helps with the silk wrap fraying.

Bought it to repair a couple nails that were starting to break at the edges, and I followed what you're supposed to do, but used glue because I'm not about to believe the tape is self stick enough to stay put. Two days later it started peeling up. And I used glue BEFORE I put it on AND over top of it. It should not have gone ANYWHERE. It came up and just peeled right off my nails, and took my broken nails with it!! so no, it doesn't work

This product does not work at all, I’ve tried using it a few times since getting it, even using rubbing alcohol to clean nail first to dry it the product keeps peeling off, even lifted the whole nail polish off. Don’t waste your money.

didn't stick to my nail
I applied the fiberglass silk wrap to clean and dry nails (two nails) and it did not stick. I had to apply nail glue to get it to stick. After I got it to stick, I had to apply multiple coats of nail polish to hide the fiberglass wrap. So far it is working. The fiberglass wraps seem to be strong enough to be able to hold the nail together.
