Worked well for my project. It comes vacuumed packed so you need to give it some time to expand out. I opened it then used it a couple days later. You don’t need to wait that long I just had to wait til the weekend to do my project. Will buy again when I need it.

This does not deserve the 1* I rated. Cheap, China-made "foam"...Ultimate waste of time and money--I will be returning...alas, so disappointing that Bolo puts the onus on buyer to repack item, schlep to a drop-off when they should be offering (at seller expense) pick-up service by USPS or some other carrier. The foam, after "rising" for hours is still barely 3/16" thick and NOT in the least bit firm...never could this be construed as firm or supportive. The width stated is 16"...and there might be a small portion that expands to this width but most of the foam is 12-14" wide. I am so irritated with myself for not reading more reviews...don't make my mistake...forget Bolo for this purchase and to to your local (or online) upholstery supply vendor.

It served it's purpose however the foam was not cut evenly across so the one end was wider than the other end. I used this to reupholster a small toy chest that my grandpa made

this is the softer foam, i had expected the more stiff type of foam. did okay for what i needed it to. very easy to cut. 3 stars: smell took almost four days to clear, was vacuum sealed and the wrinkles did not expand out fully even after four days, a bit thinner than advertised.

This foam arrives shrink wrapped—like freeze dried. I took off the wrapper and left the foam overnight. The first picture shows how the foam was the next day. I put it into the dryer on cool and Shazam! the foam was perfect. Excellent quality. Definitely will purchase again if needed.

This (roll?) of foam came compressed to about a 7" x 9" flat shrink-wrapped package. It was so wrinkled and compressed that it is completely unuseable. After letting it sit for 24 hours "some" of the wrinkles came out but it is still not of any use for upholstery work. BTW-it is NOT high density foam.
Just What I Needed
Don't let the shrink wrap package deter you. Within a few hours of being unpacked it was so fine I purchased another one. Needed some extra padding on a chair and this did the trick.

This product is garbage. It isn’t high or medium density foam. If you want this as padding or to sit on it’s useless. I wanted it to pad kneeling… garbage.
