I had never tried Rogan Josh before, so I can't comment on how this compares to others. But, I can say that the taste is wonderful. I cannot even begin to describe all the interesting flavors. The "hot" is definitely hot, to be honest, even after diluting down the concentration as much as I could.One review or more said it was too salty, but once it's incorporated into a dish with meat and vegetable and rice, etc., it's not too salty at all.It came well packaged with no leaks. Definitely recommend!

So I made some lamb with this and used the whole bottle with a bit of water to loosen it up (it’s a tiny jar), and HOLY HECK was this stuff SPICY! I’m no lightweight either when it comes to spicy foods, but I had to absolutely power through this, because it still tasted really good! It's a slow creep spice too, takes a few bites to really start to heat up. I will absolutely buy this again, but definitely add more water and/or tomato sauce with LESS paste. I’d give it 5 stars if there was at least some kind of guidance on the bottle for how to properly portion it out, as wow, I really took a hit on my first guess! 🥵

Absolutely the best I’ve ever used and I’ve tried everything from the grocery stores even whole foods and this is the most authentic and delicious curry pastes. I used to buy powdered and add oil to make a paste but this has so much more depth to it!There’s a whole group of product this manufacturer sells and so far All are goodAll packaged directly from India

I love the Rogan Josh—it is so versatile and I’ve ordered more to have on hand. Also got the Tandoori and excited to try it! I don’t know why people say it’s too salty; it’s seasoned great. My guess is they’re using too much. As a paste, you don’t need a lot to enhance a dish or create a solid base for a curry. It’s pretty concentrated. Overall tho, highly recommend!

I use this rogan josh curry paste to make chicken or beef with vegetables. It's very tasty, but also quite spicy. Watch out for it if you can't handle hot foods!

These pastes can be rubbed into vegetables or meat to produce a great amount of flavor with little effort. In addition you can make great sauces by adding tomatoes.
