This is puréed ginger. It can be used as an additive to sauces or in hot water for tea. And everything in between. The taste is fresh and crisp. The smell is the most amazing ginger smell. I cannot wait to make ginger molasses cookies with this.It is a lot of ginger and I don’t have experience yet with how long it lasts in the fridge, but absolutely refrigerate it after opening. I like to add spoonfuls to sauces, rice, and baking, just about everything I eat. I’ve barely made a dent in the jar.Highly recommend for all your ginger needs, especially if you’re used to powdered ginger. This is so easy to add to everything, you’ll say powdered ginger who?

I never knew what Ginger Paste was until I had to use it. It taste great in your recipes. If you have gastroparesis, this is an item that you can easily digest. It is very easy to use and store. You get a great valve for your money . The container was bigger than I thought I was getting which is worth the money. 1/2 teaspoon goes a long way in your recipes.

I always buy these big jars of Ginger paste (and Garlic paste). This is no different from the ones I buy at the Indian grocery store. Nice, fresh with no weirdness about them. Absolutely no problems what so ever. Buy with confidence!As a note: Not sure if this is how they always come, but WOW what a packing job!!! I bought the Garlic paste at the same time and both jars came individually wrapped with multiple and I mean MULTIPLE, layers of protected bubble wrap around them in the box. Really an A+++ job!Happy customer!

Tastes bad I've had other ginger paste that tastes just like ginger and this one does NOT. It's got salt and all kinds of other things in it and ruined my recipe completely. And it's not returnable. So i have a big jar of wasted money. I expect ginger paste to have ginger and maybe water not oil, salt, etc. SMH I had to throw away what i made with it because no one could stomach the taste.
