I have extremely sensitive skin. All my childhood my mom tried everything from homemade soaps to glycerine soaps. She tried expensive vs cheap, you name it. As an adult I began listening to advertisements for Dove soap & realized I should try it. OH MY GOSH! Dove changed my life, the quality of the soap & how clean you feel & I never itch or burn after use. I can only use the original version, which smells so good. I’ve tried the sensitive skin version which is works, but the original can’t be beat. My husband even uses the Dove bars & liquid soap.

I grew up with this soap, and my late mother used it for her whole life. The mild fragrance of it is such a visceral reminder of so many things that my shower is like a Time Machine. Add to that , the gentle , moisturising formula that does not disrupt my sensitive skin and it is a forever part of my life.

I use this soap in the winter time because of the moisturizing in it.Liquid soap that people use usually has alcohol based on it. It's not only not good for your skin in the winter time but also not good for your scan on the summer time. I would highly recommend this If you have dry skin and take hot showers in the winter time.
