Im the owner of a sober living home so accuracy is of the utmost importance in my field and i find these to be pretty accurate. I just ordered these for the second time and I find them pretty reliable.

For me, these tests work as well as they should. A lot of people leaving reviews genuinely do not know enough about etg to be leaving a comment in the first place.. 5 days back is the absolute max etg can stay in your system and even 4 days is a push. After 3 days unless you’ve been drinking for years and years without a break or you had 50 drinks in one night it will be out of your system!! For me personally I’ve been a heavy drinker , when I do drink I have anywhere from 10-15 drinks a night and I’m negative by the 36 hour mark. I know these tests work because I’ve tested myself at 12 hours, 24 hours, and 36. 12 was always positive and the majority of the time 24 hours was positive as well. 36 always negative. Every body is different but they say 5 days so if someone was testing positive still at 3 days, they can’t be sued. Anyways that’s my take on it.

You have to pay attention to cut off levels. These have anywhere from 300-500ng/dl cutoff range. Some folks are tested at 100ng/dl and will still risk failing if they test at a 500ng/dl cutoff depending on how far out from drinking. Etg is a METABOLITE made by your body after imbibing alcohol and so it won't be positive if you just put it in some alcohol. Also, the 80hr detection window is only valid with heavy drinking, most people can pass at 300-500ng/dl cutoff level more than 25-26 hours after ingesting alcohol. Too many comments from people who dont understand how the product works!

I used the alcohol strips multiple times, and the results were inconsistent. One test showed positive, while another was negative within the same hour! The instructions claim 99% accuracy, but my experience suggests otherwise. False readings could have serious consequences. Waste of money and trust. Never buying again.
