It is a little firmer than I expected for a "wet" dog food. Package is fairly easy to open and can be re-closed if you are careful how you open it. My dog loves it. She is 7 years old and has always been well behaved no matter what I am putting in her dish, not for this stuff! She is only about 10 pounds and she is pushing me out of the way if I am not moving quick enough. The texture is very smooth and about as firm as liverwurst, the odor is pretty mild and not unpleasant to me. I feed my dog half of a container with half a cup or so of small dog kibbles once a day. She also gets treats several times a day, so I have no idea what someone else should feed their pooch. My dog highly recommends this and so do I.

My 2 small dogs are a bit picky. I thought I would try this dog food for something different for them. They both smelled it and walked away. The food sat in the bowls untouched until it had to be thrown out. Sorry, but my dogs wouldn't eat it.

Aweful. Upon opening the box, the smell was horrible.Covered in mold and obvious bug infiltrated.Very disappointed in product.Take me off auto subscription!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It looked healthy and yummy for my pooch.Ingredients:Dog food companies are going overboard with the healthy additives, like peas. What looked good on paper, didn't pass the taste/texture/smell test for my dog. She thought the peas were fun to play with. At that price? No thankyou.
