5.0 out of 5 stars Fits my 2003 F150 work truck
Fit my 2003 F150 with a 3" lift which is why I wanted to downsize the antenna on it. Was the only thing on the truck I kept hitting on branches and had to take off at the car wash. This new one seems durable. Took a little inspection of the threads on the old antenna but back then they were pretty straight forward. Mine took the all black 6mm extension but the antenna part only went 1 way on it. If you were doing it backwards it wouldn't seem to fit. Took a couple of tries but I had it right. On mine I had to use the 2 rubber grommets to make up the space difference but you can't even tell. Install should not take more then 30 minutes tops. So far good reception but hard to say. I live and work in BFE Central TX where depending on where you are in the county you could pick up Austin, Houston, OR San Antonio so can't really say either way on that. It does say great for AM/FM radio but not HD. Since my "classic" Ford lacks that option I cannot speak on that either. Good luck

Didnt fit the greatest for 2006 Ford Explorer, but i made it work. It might have cross threaded female part on the vehicle, but its not going anywhere. Quality of signal seems normal as the normal long antenna. For the ford explorer, it needs a longer adapter to reach the female part.

This antenna is absolute garbage! I bought it based on the reviews and thought it would be a nice addition to my car but it is not the case because it doesn’t work! Perhaps it doesn’t work because it was partially disassembled when I opened the package? If so then I would give it another shot because the car looks much better with it than with the stainless steel mast that came with the car. I gave it one star because I wasn’t allowed give it zero stars.

This is the second time i ordered a blue one, first one was great but the color faded after a few months. This time I ordered a blue one and received a black one.

I ordered this after the factory broke off. This was an easy install. The kit comes with a few different stud sizes and a couple of seals, depending on what vehicle you have. It fits my flex perfectly. I also like that’s it smaller than the factory one. After installation, I turned on the radio and got a good signal. So far so good
