In the winter they usually live in the ceilings, but never in my kitchen. They started going in my silver ware drawer first, and now they have taken over about five cabinets. I literally have to put my silver on the counter. I have two cats, who I think are broken. I let them in and out of the cabinets hoping they'd get rid of them, but they did not. I could not find it inside of myself to kill the mice. So I found these humane traps. I recieved them yesterday, and I've already caught two mice. I cannot believe how easy it could have been all these months. So if you have a mouse problem, these definitely, 100% work. I used some rolled up pieces of bread, some granola bar, and some cat food as bait.

I came back just to leave a review! This works and it’s way better than the sticky traps or snap traps. I wasn’t really interested in the humane part of it. I really wanted to get ride of these annoying mice. I caught so many more using this trap vs the others. The exterminator didn’t recommend them but these seem more effective to me. I did not clean it out after each use. That seemed to attract more . Hopefully I caught them all…

If you need to rid your house of mice, but don’t want to kill them or harm them, this works great! I got them in, and the very first night I put some peanut butter in the side to put what you want to attract them inside the trap.That first night it caught a mouse. I went outside and let it out and done. I highly recommend this , I can’t use glue traps it is so inhumane, and the other traps are too. This is a really great option that ACTUALLY WORKS! Thank you for this product!

I don’t have a huge mouse problem, so I sometimes forget to check my traps for a few days. I have an HVAC “closet” with a trap set up. I do a quick visual check fairly regularly, and never noticed anything, but in a past week, I started to notice a distinct dead mouse odor. After it started getting stronger, I still never noticed anything in the trap. This morning, I got down to see if I could see anything’s under my furnace with a flashlight, and when I glanced over to the trap a few inches from my head, I saw a distinct shadow in the trap. I shine the light on it, and sure enough, it caught a mouse. Poor thing must’ve been trapped in there for over a week. They obviously work, but they need to be checked more closely than a quick visual glance. After aI clean this trap, I will move it somewhere I can see it better. I like these traps, but I’m going to try out the clear ones.

It works! I was skeptical but put 4 out around my house and waited a few days. I put peanut butter and Cheerios inside. By the second day I had caught the mouse! I was shocked! It doesn’t hurt the mouse either so I released him into the woods.

As advertised, very easy to set up and easy to release what you caught. Reusable and fairly easy to clean. Had a bit of an infestation in my apartment and was not using poison (cat) or anything where I would have to dispatch the mouse myself. Nothing the first week and then 6 in a matter of days. After 11 the problem appears to have been solved. Leaving them armed to keep it that way.

I bought these after watching 2 mice suffering on a glue trap. Never using glue traps ever again. After receiving these new traps, I didn't think they would work. I set out three of them and caught 2 mice in 24 hours. They work very well. Even a very small mouse set off the trap. I was able to take them out to the woods behind the house and release them. These traps are easy to bait, set and put in place. Releasing the mouse is very easy. Just slide the bait tray up and let the mouse go. Unlike some others, I experienced no issue with opening the trap and releasing the mouse. Your hands do not get close to the rodent if done properly. Just grab top of bait tray, pull gently outwards and pull up. You must check these daily. Once the mouse is caught, it has no access to the bait food or water.Update: I dropped my 5 star to 3 stars. These traps catch the mice but they don't hold them for long. Traps are checked twice a day. Trap in pic caught a mouse. However, mouse chewed through top of trap near vent holes and escaped back in to our house. A second trap was placed with vent holes covered with metal tape. Mouse chewed through the trap door and escaped.

Sound device, but the mice haven't fallen for it yet. They just go to the bait station and take the bait from there. Same effect, but needed when dealing with mice, they are very clever and a multi layered approach is necessary. Would rather remove them but they have to be eliminated asap. The damage they do is very expensive. One wire they chewed on in the attic ended up costing over $2k to have repaired when all was said and done. So it's war. They have walked around glue boards to get to the bait stations too. Clever buggers. I recommend and all of the above approach when dealing with mice. I had 18-20 glue boards and traps in our garage one year for 3 weeks. The mouse kept moving the glue boards around but it took 3 weeks to catch that mouse with approximately 20 traps/glue boards scattered all around the garage. But yes, if they'll voluntarily go into the humane trap better, I just wouldn't rely on it solely from my experience.

I suggest smearing peanut butter at the top of the tube where the bait cover is lifted. Mice will be tempted to the end of the trigger lever, where they will reach up. This provides maximum mechanical advantage for the trigger to be activated by small mice. It also provides easiest access for the bait area to be cleaned.For very small mice you may need to use cooking oil to lubricate between the door and where it is held open by the trigger. If the bait is still being stolen without catching a mouse place a coin on the trigger lever to increase the apparent weight of the mouse.

Fantástica Solución
Por el precio valen la pena las 6 trampas, atraparon al ratón la primer noche. Así lo pude soltar y no matar. Me parecen una solución muy humana. Las recomiendo

i have used this trap twice now and both times its caught the mouse in one night. note- the mice that get in my house have been very small not sure how well this would work for a large mouse/rat.

Sirven para atrapar ratones pequeños, les recomiendo poner crema de cacahuate (mantequilla de maní) por dentro de tubo en el techo del lado.contrario a dónde se cierra la trampa. Ya he liberado como 4 ratones con este método aunque a veces si tardan días en caer
