(Yes, I add nuts/pecans for a little crunch)Pros:1 - Great for Baratric Patients, those with GERD/ Sensitive Stomach or Anxiety Disorder- please remember that Decaf STILL has small amounts of caffeine which us why some people can not handle it.2 - Taste = tie between coffee, breakfast/black tea, with a hint of cocoa.3 - Very light, not a dense flavor but strong enough to give the "essence" of coffee.4 - No side effects5 - No aftertaste6 - Can have any time of day7 - Blends extremely well with EVERYTHING, so smooth6 - Can easily recreate your fav coffee shop drinks, or use in baked goods.(I attached a pic) I generally recycle my Starbucks cups - but decided to recreate my fav drink with non-dairy subs. to show how easy it is to make with this product.Cons:NoneOverall: GO FOR IT!!!!Give it a shot. If you're looking for a strong coffee drink that so happens to not be caffeinated, add more of this powder to your drink or just go back to decaf coffee.Please do not expect this to be a "miracle" drink, that would be nonsense. Have you noticed how it's rare to find 100% chicory root products and how coffee, tea, and cocoa are the most tried and true hot beverages in the world? They taste the best and others don't otherwise chicory, roasted date nut, and dandelion beverages would reign supreme.Plain chicory has a bitter aftertaste even if you cut it with half and half, but initially it tastes good enough. The draw to chicory over all the other substitutes on the market is that it's basically calorie free, cheap, prebiotic, nutritious, no traces of caffeine, and good on the digestive system.I've made it as an iced beverage twice now, and the strength of brew needs to be lower than the package states. The aftertaste is just too unpleasant to drink at full strength, so a half decaf coffee and half chicory beverage would probably be great - exactly how it's typically sold aside from the decaf part. I added carob powder to one of the drinks and that also makes it drinkable and tastes like an ovaltine malt beverage.You will want to choose something to mix with chicory and may as well use coffee unless you have allergies that preclude all forms of coffee, even decaf.

I love it. Its smooth flavor that you can add mushroom powder or cocoa with almond milk and taste delicious. I recomend it to my sister and she bought and said she loved it.

This brand is the MOST delicious. I have recommended it multiple times. Tried other brands that were cheaper..... they were just ok. No honey needs to be added to this stuff. Delicious as is.

whenever you want another cup of coffee in the afternoon, this is the best alternative. Halfway between coffee and chocolate. Sometimes I put a scoop of protein in it too. So good that I order it regularly.
