My new laptop had both USB-A connections, as well as my mouse dongle, next to each other on the same side of my laptop. The Sandisk flash drive I used for storing docs would not work properly with my Logitech mouse. Too much interference prevented me from getting my work done timely. I bought this Anker connector and it permitted me to plug it into the opposite side of my laptop and work off my Sandisk flash drive on the opposite side. PERFECT -- problem solved, no more interference between my Logitech mouse and the Sandisk flash drive. Thanks Anker for thinking outside the box!

My new Mac has USB-C connections on the back. I needed to connect a DVD reader/player directly to the computer, but it has a USB-A connection. I searched on Bolo and saw this adapter. Knowing that Anker makes quality, reliable products that last, I didn't hesitate to add this to my Anker arsenal. It didn't disappoint. I connected it and was able to access photo DVDs that someone had given to me. In addition to reliability, I also like the small footprint--it won't hinder connecting something else next to it.

This worked perfectly for my needs. I am using to connect a wireless mouse on my MacBook that only has USB-C ports. It makes the USB dongle stick out further, but I can deal with it to use the wireless mouse. Wish they started making wireless mouse with either both types of dongles or ability to order one. Until I find one this will work for me and Anker is a brand I trust.

This adapter USB A to C saved the day when tried to connect my old printer and favorite old keyboard to the new computer. Now the new rechargeable devices electronic or not are connected via USB C.... this adapter fits right in and no problems connecting or charging my old devices .

Very convenient and useful device
I find the adapters very helpful for using older equipment on a modern laptop with only USB-C ports. They are small, lightweight and reliable, and easy to slip into a laptop sleeve.

I still have old USB 1.0 and 2.0 and 3.0 cables which (with this converter) I can still use with new laptops equipped with USB C ports keeping my previous investment alive
