Why did you pick this product vs others?:Rechargeable battery instead of 4 - 6 AA cells, Bluetooth connection, phone app to create labels compact design.Functionality:It's not blazing fast, but it produces crisp lettering and has hundreds of images/icons that can be added to a label.Speed:Takes a few seconds for a 40 mm label to be ready from the time you click Print.Label quality:The 40 mm labels that came with the printer come off the carrier easily and, so far, the first 30 labels have stuck just fine to anodized aluminum and plastic.Portability:It's got the footprint of a smart phone, but is about 1" thick. It easily fits in my pocket.Software quality:The (Android) phone app works well; it doesn't take long to figure out how to use it. I do wish there was a search function for icons! Very easy to position the content on the label, expand size, add 2nd line or icons. It required a couple of tries for the app to connect to the label maker, but now that it's done it once, it happens instantly.So far, so good!

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent label maker if you're not paying full price for it
The media could not be loaded. Good label maker! This is the first thermal label maker I've ever owned and I love that you don't have to worry about smearing ink. Just print it out and stick it right on. Also the labels are somewhat water resistant and so far they seem to adhere pretty well, but if you do need to take it off the one that I removed didn't leave any residue behind. The instructions to set up were relatively clear, and I like that I could clearly tell when the item was properly charging or not. (I bought the other most popular thermal labeler on Bolo and returned it because you couldn't tell whether it was charged or charging whatsoever).The main thing I wanted this for was labeling my skincare products. It's hard to keep track of which serums interact with each other and when they need to be tossed. I'm so pleased with how these labels turned out! I also love how small the label maker can print. I am able to fit three lines of text on the standard size label that comes with the label maker. I don't think it would still be legible if you went to four lines, but three lines still works.That being said it's not a perfect product. First off I struggled to get the tape loaded initially. There was something blocking the tape feed entrance that I had to move out of the way with my fingernail before it would load properly. I posted a video showing a little more detail about that.My other complaints with the label maker are that it doesn't print perfectly centered, I noticed that everything tends to print a little too low towards the bottom. So if it looks perfectly centered top to bottom on the app, when it prints it won't be perfectly centered anymore. Also the app is a little clunky to figure out how to use. It does get easier once you start working with it, but lacks some functionality I would like. For example would really like the ability to search for icons. Instead since there's no search functionality you're just scrolling through endless pages looking for something in particular that you wanted. I also don't love that they try to push a paid subscription, by making half of the fonts, icons, borders, etc be for premium subscribers only. Really don't love that. And there appears to be no way to turn it off because they want you to see all these options that you have to pay extra for to entice you to pay for it...For the price I paid, sub twenty dollars, I'm pretty pleased. I have some gripes like I said but given how inexpensive the product was I'm happy regardless. However if this had cost, say, the MSRP cost I would feel like it was not a good value and was overpriced.

LOVE THIS! This printer works amazing especially for the cheap price. SUPER easy to set up, connect and use the app. I would definitely recommend to anyone that needs to make small labels. They print instantly and after 5 hours of the printer being on i haven't had to charge it. There are a lot of options in the app as far as fonts and designs but you do have to pay for a majority of them. the size of the labels aren't very big, they worked perfectly for me but that's just something to keep in mind before purchasing.

Súper bien esta máquina, tiene opciones para acomodar las hileras de letras y el tamaño, las etiquetas están muy bien para frascos pequeños de 250 ml se ven bien, para frascos de 500 ml ya se ven pequeñas pero muy útil para identificar el producto del recipiente.
