These were pretty fresh and soft, I've read lots of comments getting them old and hard. Mine are kinda frozen from being outside, so maybe they will be softer than they already are. The flavor is great until you eat like three, then they aren't as strong anymore. You can still taste that it's cherry, but its just not the strong one I was looking for. Will definitely buy again if I crave these.

The first time I ordered this product, it was wonderful. It had good flavor and the pieces were good sized with a nice coating of sugar. However, the next time I ordered it, I got a smaller sized package, and it was NOT the same product that I had received originally. Not only were the pieces smaller, but they looked slightly melted and tasted almost chemical. So I bought another bag of the same weight purchased originally, thinking maybe that was the difference. NOPE! The third bag purchased was even WORSE than the second. Not only did it contain the same smaller, slightly melted and chemical tasting product as the second bag, but this time they were also in pieces. I had high hopes that this time they would be better, but alas they were not. I will NOT be purchasing again.
