Did not read any reviews before ordering, as optometrist directed me to buy and use. Directed to heat and apply for 3-5 minutes at night, Worst pollen she has seen in decades. OCusoft Allergy lid scrubs, Pataday (0.2% antihistamine) and prescription (steroid) eye drops ordered. Remove contact lens, flush with Systane eye drops, wait 5 minutes before using other eye drops OR experience burning in eye(s). For OCusoft lid scrubs always remove contact lens before use: for original scrub - wash lids with clean water after scrub, for Allergy scrub - no rinsing - best results when left on to dry.Comes with a couple of small towels(?), to be placed over eye before placing heated eye patch onto towel. I have not researched if a facial wipe (Puffs/Kleenex) satisfies barrier requirements. Head strap is somewhat adjustable. At 15 seconds in microwave, just warm. Comfortable, when setting in recliner.Place on clean plate, insert in microwave for 15 seconds. If need warmer, raise in 5 second increments. Hand wash cold water, mild soap, then AIR DRY FOR 24 HOURS. This means you need two patch groups, whether single or double version. This two (single) pack satisfies my needs, for use on one eye, while the second one air dries.

Not too heavy on your eyes just two little patches in your eyes. You do have to be reclined.

Rather than having to hold a warm washcloth to your eye, it keeps both hands-free. Last longer than a warm washcloth. Gets the job done so sty can heal faster.

Better than the damp wash cloth in the microwave. I read the reviews and put it in for 15-16 seconds which was perfect. The heat will last maybe 5-6 minutes. It is much more convenient than the wash cloth but, from what I've read a style needs moist heat, it does say it delivers moist heat, it's just difficult to tell. Would I use again, absolutely, just wish it lasted longer.

I have a big female head. Like I'm limited to motorcycle helmets that are more in the men's sizes than the women's.The small velcro on this is in one spot. You can't adjust it! All they would have to do is extend the velcro a little farther and it would fit lots of people. Instead, it's way too big for me. So I had to tie a big knot in it, which I can't adjust it all.At first I really loved how it shaped itself to my eye . But right away I noticed it was putting too much pressure. I have to repeatedly make an arch in it with my thumb to be able to use it comfortably and safely.The heat it puts off and the length of time it stays warm is impressive. So much better than the microwaved wet washcloths I was using before! 5 stars for that part.The covers are way too expensive so I'm concerned how I will keep this sterile. You have to let it dry for 24 hours before you can use it after washing, so I can't wash it everyday. I decided to try to use a piece of paper towel under it and that seems okay so far. Better than nothing.My last complaint is that it's supposed to release moisture. There's no signs of moist heat here whatsoever. The paper towel and my face is bone dry. And given you have to let it dry so long after cleaning it, it's safe to assume you shouldn't wet it before use. Disappointing!

Ces compresses nous rappellent les soins essentiels des yeux!
Je n'ai pas d'orgelets.Je lis de longues heures sur les écrans d'ordinateur, et j'oublie de cligner des yeux, ce qui me fait craindre la sécheresse oculaire. Il faut prendre des pauses régulières de l'écran! Je me motive enfin à prendre ces pauses grâce au confort et plaisir des compresses chaudes posées sur mes yeux fermés un bref moment jusqu'à ce qu'elles reviennent à la température de la pièce. Et je retourne à l'ordi mieux disposée! Génial et prudent!
