This kit is worth every penny. We are a family of teachers and we bought this kit to encourage our kids, ages 7 and 2, to do some hands on science with us with all of his time together during Safer at Home. We used to love to stream Bill Nye the Science Guy before disney decided to stop showing it and we were sad when it was unavailable, so we were happy to get this set of experiments for Christmas. Both kids love the experiments even though they are younger than 8. The 7 year old can grasp the concepts, but the 2 year old just loves to participate with the family. The headset has adjustable eye pieces, so it fits both kids. There are some experiments that require buying some items, but it’s totally worth it to have my 7 year old beg me to learn science all day.The VR part of this is very rewatchable: The first experiment has you fly over an erupting volcano in VR: turn around and see the helicopter!

We got this for our daughter for Christmas. Upon opening it, we found various pieces were not included. I reached out to Abacus Brands customer service and they quickly responded to my issue. They responded that my missing parts issue was not one they regularly encountered. They sent a new box which had all parts included! The customer service I received was top notch!This science kit is great for all future scientists out there! I highly recommend!

So, the VR aspect is very cool. The VR is your smartphone, clipped into a headset. So the smartphone + headset = VR. It does not come with a true VR setup.The VR clips are short. I guess so are the experiments but would have been cool if VR clips were longer.There are many things you need to buy or have around the house that do not come with this kit. IE..alka-seltzer tabs, white flowers, dry yeast packet, etc.Would be nice if a list of such items was clearly produced at the beginning you wouldnt realize it on a rainy day when you just want to play scientist with your kid.Overall I give this 3-1/2 stars. Its cool because of VR. The experiments could be more exciting. I have owned better science kits over the years. Not bad for 40-50$

Great gift idea
This was a gift for my 10 yr old niece. She was so excited to open it. Will have to send an update on the actually product once she has opened it but as of right now I give it a 👍
Eight year old loved it
My eight year old daughter loved this! I was less than impressed with the headset and didn’t think it added any real value to the experience.

spend a couple of hours and kept coming back to this item on Bolo - and everyone has been so impressed with the quality of the product.
Bill Nye should be ashamed of this product.
This science kit is a big waste of time and money. Don't get fooled by the VR and app, they don't work. Read the reviews of the app on android app store. Most people can't get the app to work. I have tried it with a new 32GB tablet and all you get is a camera looking at the book. There is no vr, no ar. You are better off getting a good science kit and not buying something with Bill Nye's photo on it.
