I wanted to replace my L'oreal Voluminous mascara that I'd faithfully worn for years, but just wasn't offering the length I wanted, anymore. I've been through a protracted illness and my beauty needs have changed.After trying both the L'oreal Telescopic mascara and the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High (in blackest black), I found the Maybelline mascara provided lovely length and separation of lashes even after several coats. As it is rather wet, it allows for building the volume easily. Using an eyelash curler prior is nice, but not necessary for every day looks. This stuff doesn't clump, no matter the amount you add on. It doesn't smudge. As it is wet, it transfers ever so slightly before it dries down, so take a pointy q-tip to do a tad of cleanup before finishing your face. I also really like that my lashes don't look like stiff, hairy tarantula legs. The L'oreal Telescopic provides nice length, but it clumps quickly as you add extra layers-- so, good for 1-2 swipes only. So, if you're waffling between the two mascaras, I recommend the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High.

This mascara is incredible. I had been using Thrive but it is a little clumpy so switched to Alleyoop and liked how it was more natural and less clumpy but I lost the length I had with Thrive. But then I tried this mascara after reading about it on Reddit and it's the best!! It gives the most amazing length ever and is not clumpy at all. It is tubing which I love and it comes off with my regular face wash. It is also way less fun to pick off like the other tubing mascaras which is great for me. It's perfect.

Pretty good! I like this mascara.I bought this to replace my L'Oreal Voluminous Original mascara, and there are a few noticable differences.This mascara doesn't smear like my old stuff did. When it comes off, it tends to come off in "flakes". I don't mind this! In fact, I prefer it. It helps minimalize the racoon eye look.Second is the thickness. This stuff is MUCH thicker than my old mascara. I'm not sure if I like that quite as much, as I typically want something more for coloring my lashes than building them out, but it's not bad. Just maybe not as much my style.Other than that, I don't feel like this mascara does a ton for curl or length. I'm sure it would be better when paired with a curler, but I haven't felt like it holds a curl very well.But for just an every-day or once-in-a-while product, I think it works just fine.

My new favorite mascara! I used to use Too Faced Better Than Sex and then I moved onto Benefit BADgal Bang! Volumizing Mascara. And while those both worked great for as long as I used them, they were the type that were a thicker consistency which I guess was good for building volume? It worked, so no major complaints. But then I found this mascara. INSTA-FAVE. It does just as well as the previous two but instead of the thicker clumping mascaras it is a thinner liquid mascara, which is so much nicer to apply and doesn't make me feel like it gobs up the brush. So I call this a win!

Okay so I bought this to pair with the Maybelline Sky High Waterproof Mascara, and I didn’t expect to love it this much. I was just hoping for a little fun sparkle on my lashes, but it actually turned out way better than I thought.Here’s what I learned while playing around with it. If you use it like regular mascara and just comb it through your lashes, it gives you a really subtle shimmer. It’s pretty, especially during the day or if you want something low-key. But if you want that glitter to actually show up, the trick is to press the wand gently against your lashes instead of brushing it through. I know it sounds a little weird, but it makes a huge difference. Just kind of press and blink, then press again, and suddenly your lashes look like they were kissed by fairy dust.Also, let each coat dry before going in with more. Same goes for your base mascara if you're layering it. I didn’t wait the first time and it got a little messy. Now I take my time and it applies so much better.The sparkle shows up the most in direct light. Like, if you shine your phone flashlight or catch sunlight just right, you can really see it twinkle. In regular daylight you can still see it, it’s just a lot softer. So it depends on the lighting, but I love that you can kind of choose how bold or subtle it looks.I seriously had so much fun trying this out and now I’m obsessed. Definitely recommend pairing it with your favorite mascara, but on it's own, it's cute too. It make my lashes look so pretty, and it just makes me feel extra cute.
