I ordered this outlet during Prime day. I’ll say I’m rather impressed, the only thing I dislike about it instead of being labeled an outlet or plug in the Alexa app - it comes up as a switch or light other than that I have no complaints. This product works as advertised 100%. I’m a big fan of Ezviz products. I have seven of their cameras and plan on buying more. The biggest problem people have with hooking up their products is customers don’t read the directions and or there router is unable to handle X amount of products. I have 60 items hooked up to my Wi-Fi and it runs seamlessly.

Do not buy! We have two different switches from EZVIZ and if you have a power glitch they will not auto reconnect unless you press the button. Well when your not home, and you need to reset whatever is plugged in, it's pointless.Kasa switches are way better. I have EZVIZ cameras and doorbells so I don't dislike this brand but they need to get their act together with the switches. I spoke with support and they blame everything else but the switch, internet, power outage, etc. I have had EZVIZ products for years and all I asked for is a replacement to see if these 2 switches are faulty and they are less than 6 mo old. They just keep getting me to try other things and their tech finally said the our power went out just a little too quickly and that's the reason they wouldn't reconnect. Well WHO CAN CONTROL HOW LONG THE POWER GOES OUT!! THIS IS CRAZY, OWN UP TO THE SWITCHES BEING A PROBLEM AND AT LEAST REPLACE THEM FROM A LONG TIME EZVIZ USER.

This plug was super easy to install and the build quality feels good in your hand. No cheap plastic here. I use it to remote activate lights on a display shelf. A big bonus is that the app will tell you the amount of energy consumed as well. I will stick with this brand if I need more WiFi controlled outlets.

The set-up on this is quite easy. With these plugs, we can turn lamps on and off so our place looks occupied even when we're away.

Wouldn't work with home modem router (Arris SGB8300). Chose Ezviz because we have their cameras on our network. Only worked from hotspot on phone, which obviously isn't practical. Contacted customer support and it took a week for them to respond. By then, had already returned and bought Kasa which connected with ease.
