Added to a AM4 Socket Ryzen 7 5700X CPU. Temperatures are running cool with idle in the 30s°C range and Gaming in the 60s°C Range. Idle Pic Attached.MX4 was simple to apply and did not run after finishing pattern.

I am currently trying to find thermal paste that does not pump out from a RTX2080ti repaste. I have tried countless pastes and unfortunately they all pump out after about 1 week or less of medium to light use from my GPU. Arctic MX-4 is no different, it pumps out as well. I have tried Noctua pastes, and Arctic silver 5, and Corsait XTM70, and this MX-4. They all pump out around the same time. I am ordering PTM7950 by way of Thermalright Helios V2 to hopefully get rid of the pump out issues I am having.With all that said, I have also applied MX-4 to my Intel i9 9900k processor. This processor gets HOT and gets hot frequently and easily. With the MX-4 paste on it remains well within spec of the CPU and does not throttle my CPU at all. Prior to the MX-4 repaste on my CPU I was hitting 90 degrees celcius very rapidly when running 4k video or gaming. Now my max CPU temps are in the 70's and this is only when they spike for a split second for whatever reasons, on average my CPU temp while gaming is in the upper 50's to mid 60's, about a 30-40 degree difference, which is huge!I highly recommend this paste for CPUs, but for GPUs I do not recommend if you have a medium power range GPU such as the 2080ti or more. I also want to mention my GPU and CPU are both water cooled, I am not sure if that matters but it might.I trust this brand and would certainly buy again for CPU application, but will pass on using for any direct die GPU application as there are better options for that than this.Comes in retail package with spatula, spatula actually works very well and makes applying on such a small part practically easy. Cleans up well with iso propyl alcohol and cotton swabs/paper towels.

This product is essential when mounting a cooling unit on a CPU. I have tried many other brands, but always come back to this one, which I consider the "Gold Standard".There are other products available that are cheaper, but do you want to risk the health of your CPU?Play it safe and use a proven industry leader!
