I read the instructions and watched the video. Long story short, you have to make sure the sampler is seated fully into the reagent holder before shaking. An you have about 30 seconds to open the pouch, slip the disk in the reader and put in the sample…. It looked far easier on the video than it actually was. It will not work at all if done even a tiny bit off.Gave the kit 5 stars since the learning curve could have just been me..... But it is nice to be able to check our A1C at home in less than 10 mins.

We've compared the results of several of these same-day A1C tests to the labs done on same day but results are received a day or two later. Consistently within .1 of a point. Very pleased with these for accuracy and ease of use.

Use during mission work in Central America. No amenities like Air Conditioning, etc. They are temperature sensitive which has to be accounted for in warm environment.

Simple, easy, apparently accurate BUT . . . after using several of the tests, the screen on the analyzer wigged out and was unreadable - it seems to have improved after a couple more tests but wasted several tests before it started working again.

I wasn’t sure how accurate this would be but I followed instructions and tested at home one day, and at the hospital lab the next day. This tested at 5.8, hospital at 5.7. I’ll take that level of accuracy for immediate results!

Followed the instruction - on the training video! Wasted 3 tests because after blood collection etc a clear liquid was released!!!!???? The third test worked finally
