I purchased this corn flour because I am on a low sodium diet and cannot have commercial breadcrumbs. I use it to bread fish, chicken and pork to prepare in my air fryer. This flour has such a wonderful smooth consistency and a great earthy flavor, unlike all purpose flour which lacks all flavor and does not adhere well to foods when used as breading. I double dip the foods I am breading in this flour and I find that at least 90% of the flour adheres to the food I am breading. The double dipping adds both extra crunch as well as added flavor. Here’s a tip for anyone using this flour as breading.. add any spices you like directly to the corn flour before breading and the flavor will be intensified. I will continue to purchase this flour and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a better tasting product than all purpose flour!

This flour has a very mild flavor. During a visit to Sweden, I ate some of the most delicious crackers. I asked the chef what was in them and while he did not give me the recipe, He told me the ingredients. One of those ingredients was corn flour. I could not find it locally so I ordered and it arrived promptly. This flour is fine milled and could be substituted for flour in pancakes, waffles, etc.

Especially useful for a roux or thickening of sauces for those sensitive to gluten, as it is gluten-free. Not coarse-ground as would be appropriate for polenta or grits, but perfect as a gluten-free substitute in baking & routine pan thickening of sauces, stews & gumbo.

I bought this for a particular dish that called for corn flour. I couldn't find it anywhere else, and I do feel this was expensive--but it's worth it! The dish turned out great and I've been trying to find things to do with it. Maybe try corn flower gravy. Corn flower fry bread. I'm really enjoying it.
