We have a Australian cattle dog mix with medium length hair and it works just as well if not better than our Furminator comb that we have been using for years. Of course it's made of plastic vs Furminator steel but unless you're planning on dropping it onto concrete frequently it looks like it's built to last. What can I say about the self "cleaning" button on the back. I used to get poked in the fingers all the time by the metal bristles when removing hair on our cheap comb we used to leave in our car for quick brushes. The self cleaning button and rubber tipped bristles eliminates that problem completely!!!! Will likely purchase another one just to keep around as a spare.

I was really impressed with this brush. My short-haired orange tabby is a shedding machine and I didn’t realized that she had some small mats in there. She loves this brush and is not always one to be touched. Never violent, just hides if she doesn’t want attention or pets. She hops up on my kitchen bench when I show her this brush so I can brush her. No more matted fur spots and she’s a happy cat. I love the one- click cleaning feature. So easy. Also, the bristles have those little nubbies that make it more comfortable on the cat’s skin.

My cat loves it! It actually helped with the bonding process. After couple uses, he was bringing it to get his fur brushed.I like how it is very easy to clean with one push on the button. I also like how the wires tips are protected with plastic drops. I've seen some that looks like needles... While they might not be harmful for the pet, they could harm people... In case they fall to the wrong hands.My cat has medium hair. not very hard to maintain... I think he likes how it helps with the shedding and the complete massage.

This is a great brush, outside of the fact that my cat loves it. It's so handy to just be able to press a button and push the hair out of the brush to keep it cleaned out. I also see how much hair has been floating around my house prior to getting this brush. Gross, but a great purchase!

It works! Its perfect for shedding cats and so easy to clean!! My cats love the brush too. They didn't like the hairbrush I had but love this cat/dog one. It seems to feel really good to them. Im so pleased. And its not a high price. Its perfect!

I’ve had cats for years. This brush is hands down the best I’ve ever had, without a doubt. Not only does my cat enjoy the bristles but they don’t fall out of the brush like others I’ve had. The fact that you can just push a button and the fur drops neatly in your hand is genius. I wish I could give this 12 stars

Good quality, strong plastic material. Easy to remove all the hair from the brush. My cat tries to bite me when I brush him, but he can't reach me because of the long handle. :) Great product to have — it should last for years.

Sadly, she has passed away, but I will keep it if we decide to get another cat.

Best pet brush
Gets all the excess fur from my cats, I didn't realise actually how much they were shedding, or not, until I used this self cleaning pet brush. My cat doesn't like being brushed usually so he gets a bit knotty but this brush was easy to use to get rid of all the excess fur.
