It's nontoxic and safe to use on garden planters. Please don't look at the price and say you can find stain cheeper (which you can but they are not comparable products). This my 2nd year using the product. The Clear coating appears thin and milky in color. At first I had some concerns, however it went on easy and absorbed into the 6 x 6 beams used for the planter box. The Clear coating kept the natural look of the wood. After a year of Colorado sun, snow, and dry climate the wood still looks protected. I'm applying again this year mainly to keep protection, but also because of the lite nature of the application it won't cause a build up like other lesser stains. This will be the only product I'll ever use.Regarding the seller - the product was shipped fast and Very Secure. I give them 5 Stars just for the creative packing!

I followed the instructions pretty seriously and it worked well for me. No smell And it was easy to apply 2 coats with a thick paint brush. I was excited to see it waterproofing when it rained.

The product works like magic. Two coats and our deck looks and feels amazing, plus now our deck is waterproof. Terrific product, I recommend it, and we'll use it again.

I used this in sealing up all my furring strip wood in my van conversion. Being it is a small space and I went with Havelock wool for natural resources to prevent breathing in bad junk, I wanted to stick with that theme. This was exactly what I was looking for. It was a small can not it is very thin so it stretches very far. I managed to triple coat all of my floor, ceiling and wall furring strips (and waste a bit along the way). Only complaint is how thin (watery, hence the waste) this is. But to be honest, I also found that a positive as well when it comes to faster drying time, spreading it, and stretching the can so far. Smell was not awful and I would def buy again.
