I bought the Charlotte Tilbury Setting Spray because it was consistently recommended by people on TikTok and now I will NEVER use anything else for setting my makeup.I have it all: combination skin, super oily but gets dry/flakey with retinol use, textured, uneven tone, large pores, acne scarring, and acne prone. Makeup in general is a process of trial and error (and a trial of patience). I like the idea of setting spray but never saw any benefit until this one.It is PRICEY but so so so worth it. It comes in a very big bottle so it lasts a long time. It mists on evenly and doesn't leave and globs of spray behind. It smells lightly perfumed, but nice. It dries pretty quickly and your skin feels a little tight after. This keeps my makeup in place so well! I can run a finger over my makeup and it won't budge, which has never been the case with my oily skin.It does dry with a bit of a glossy sheen. Since I have oily skin, I am obsessed with having a matte finish so this is the one negative thing I can find about the product. I apply a light bit of translucent powder after so I can get a more matte look. Totally not a deal breaker for me since it does an amazing job holding my makeup all day.If you are looking for a setting spray and you've given up faith in other products, I would HIGHLY recommend this one! I will never use anything else ever again.Hope this helps!**VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE**Okay, so I left the raving review above after the first time I purchased this product and I have an EXTREMELY important update. I ended up ordering this spray a second time and noticed that the scent was very different and that it worked totally different (by that, I mean that it didn't work at all... like spraying perfumed water on my face). The real Charlotte Tilbury setting spray feels a bit tacky and has a bit of a shine to it once it's dried but this second one that I ordered did not.But I used it anyway, because it is SO expensive and I wasn't just going to just throw it away. Even though it didn't really do anything... I figured that maybe Charlotte Tilbury changed their formula or something. Once that bottle was done, I ordered it again on Bolo because I was chasing that high from the first time I ordered it and I was hoping that enough people complained about the new formula that they would have changed their formula back to the original. I was disappointed to find that was not the case, and the third one I ordered was exactly like the second one.I decided to look up if Charlotte Tilbury changed their formula and if other people were just as disappointed with the new one, only to find that they have not changed their product at all... So I went to the comment section and really had to dig to find that someone had complained about the same things I was experiencing. I also noticed that I got my first wonderful setting spray from a different seller, and the last 2 were from someone called EcomSupply.I decided to begrudgingly drop more money on purchasing ANOTHER setting spray directly from Sephora so I could compare it to the one I got on Bolo, to confirm that it was the authentic product. What do you know? The one from Sephora is EXACTLY like the 1st amazing one that I ordered and received from a different seller. I compared the real one to the one I just ordered on Bolo and the bottles are slightly different (I'll add photos so you can see for yourself), the scent is TOTALLY different, and the one from Sephora has the tacky residue that I grew to love while the one from Bolo is just water...I reached out to Bolo and they offered me a refund (only for the most recent one that I ordered, not for the second one which I understand but still feel frustrated about it...) but they couldn't really guarantee me that this seller would not be allowed to continue selling the fake setting spray here on Bolo. I am horrified and I feel completely violated, wondering what on earth have I been spraying on my face for the last 6 months?! Is it even safe to use? What are the ingredients, because it's definitely not what's listed on the bottle. AAAAHHHHH!!!Please Please Please make sure if you are ordering this, double check that the seller isn't EcomSupply... I am keeping this as a 5 star review because the product is absolute amazing, as long as you actually are using the correct product. Never ordering this on Bolo again, only directly through Sephora. I absolutely love this setting spray! As someone who doesn’t like a powdery or cakey finish, this is a game-changer. It melts my makeup beautifully into the skin, giving it a smooth, natural finish without dulling the look.Not only does it take away that powdery cast, but it also seriously locks everything in place. My makeup lasts noticeably longer throughout the day without fading or separating—even in heat or humidity.It feels lightweight, doesn’t leave any sticky residue, and has a subtle, pleasant scent. If you want that “melted-in” flawless finish, this is 100% worth it. Holy grail product for me!

This is one of the absolute best setting sprays I’ve tried. Goes on easily and helps makeup stay in place all day. I usually combine this one with the o/s one for extra protection when I know I’m going to be outside all day.

COMBO SKIN. 🙋🏼‍♀️👈🏼 Not exaggerating - Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush spray has changed my life. I can never maintain my oily face throughout the day. Lots of “why are you so shiny?” and having to completely remove/reapply my foundation & powder by the afternoon. Over many years, I’ve spent thousands of dollars on skincare & makeup products in search of a resolution. And for myself, this setting spray is the answer! My face stays matte until I remove my makeup at night. I come home from work looking & feeling as confident as I went in.From my experience, the trick is to *completely saturate* your face right after makeup is done. As it’s drying, it might initially feel like your makeup is melting off - but when it dries, it's smooth and blended and matte and stays put. I tried using it sparingly (just a light mist) for a while - and I think that might work for someone who doesn’t have as oily skin, because I noticed it would at least cut the oil down. But the first day I completely saturated my face with the setting spray - when I looked in the mirror on my afternoon break at work, and again that night when I got home, my jaw legitimately dropped.Would give this product, itself, 5 stars! The only reason I gave it less was specifically this Bolo item. The image implies the buyer receives a boxed gift set of 2 setting sprays that you could theoretically wrap as an actual gift. However, I received only 1 bottle without even a cap on it, just rolling around loosely in an Bolo box.Bolo resolved the issue entirely. I still love and will continue to use this product every day! I will just probably go a different route purchasing it next time.
