I like the new screen for my fireplace pretty well. It sports some nice design work over the screen, and I really like the metallic weathing. It looks better than the old black screen I had, especially in a basement apartment where there is no sunlight available in the living room. One thing that would improve the screen would be for it to have a little more weight to it. Overall, it serves its purpose and looks nice.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This really dressed up my fireplace. It was a black hole with some logs in it, but now it has a nice finished look. We love it, and we have gotten compliments on its looks. Makes it easier to dress up the fireplace for holidays. It has good weight and quality.

I purchased this screen to keep my cat from scratching up the actual fireplace screen. This was exactly what I needed, it is very sturdy and well made, fits my fireplace perfectly, and is heavy enough that my naughty cat can't knock it over. Such great value for the cost!
