I own all of the available recordings of this outstanding Australian mystery series, loaded with well-executed plots, a sterling cast, romantic tension and saucy banter. Unfortunately, only 3 seasons were ever filmed. Everyone I have ever shared it with has had the same question: “What the h— was Australian Broadcasting thinking when they canceled this series??” I would give these collections ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, if that were “a thing.”

We love these stories, so we bought the set of DVDs for a relative as a present. They have tried several of the DVDs in the set and find that they are all defective. They just quit running; they suddenly shift to another episode, etc.Be very careful if you plan to order these because digital items are NON-RETURNABLE! You will lose your money and there is no recourse. Plus, in our case, a gift to another person has turned into a liability. Very bad karma.

This review is about the DVD product, not about the series (which I love -- wonderful 1920s cozy mysteries, with great costumes and settings.)Presentation/case is convenient and arrived in good condition. However the product description was false -- the magnets were not included, as stated in some other reviews. I agree with them in that I didn't care about the magnets in the first place. However, that doesn't change the fact that the description is false.

I love this show. Essie Davis is a wonderful actress and I love how she flirts. She’s fun, she makes me laugh and her character is, in my opinion, one of the best I’ve had to enjoy over and over.
