Very good quality, EXCEPT I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE 3RD DISK OF SEASON 1. It won't play. It says it's a CDROM.

I got caught up in the streaming craze & stopped buying DVDs for a few years. As I watched Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, I once again realised that I was making a mistake.In an era where political correctness has gone mad (again) it occurred to me that I may not always be able to watch shows that I love or simply put, eventually some just leave streaming platforms & even if you buy them via iTunes or Bolo, who is to say something won’t happen & there goes your show & your money?Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries is one of those shows that makes you laugh, smile & you come away from it feeling as though the Honourable Miss Fisher is who you’d love to be. Essie Davis and Nathan Page shine in this series. Even though the movie was basically terrible (it’s probably better if you haven’t seen the series in all honesty?) even in that, Nathan Page in particular displays acting & range that is spectacular.Essie Davis is the kind of actress who is the ultimate chameleon. She IS Phryne Fisher. She IS every character she plays. I never feel like I’m watching actors when I see the talents of Essie or Nathan & they work together brilliantly. Their chemistry on & off screen is like nothing I’ve seen before. Forget the US show, Castle—this is the crime drama with sexual tension you should be watching.The thing I was unsure & hesitant about when ordering was that the description didn’t say anything about any bonus/behind the scenes features. I am pleased to say this set does have 3 hours of bonus features across the 3 series and the film combined.The bonus features are as follows:Series 1: Meet the Creators, set tour, the look of Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, cast interviewsSeries 2: Behind the Scenes clips (over 30 mins worth), promos, seasons greetingsSeries 3: Behind the Scenes featurettes (35 mins), character clips, Mr. Butler’s Drink of the WeekCrypt of Tears: behind the scenes featurette, cast & crew Q&A, Essie Davis interviewI wouldn’t change anything about this box set other than to magically add additional seasons. Miss Fisher is a gem of a show I am thrilled to own. I could’ve left the movie, but upon thinking about it, I really did want the entire collection. I’ll review the movie separately so as not to spoil anything here.If you’re a fan of Miss Fisher, Castle, Moonlighting or any similar procedural, I’d highly recommend buying this set for yourself or as a gift. The joy & love of life Essie Davis brings to the screen via Phryne Fisher never gets old. A true joy to watch.

Colorful disc box containing a magnetic paper doll which I am using for a bookmark. No flaws on the discs. Complete satisfaction. Purchased the Blu-ray set for myself, and the regular CD set for someone else.

One of my faves
I love this show. Essie Davis is a wonderful actress and I love how she flirts. She’s fun, she makes me laugh and her character is, in my opinion, one of the best I’ve had to enjoy over and over.

Dvds have many glitches
Was so happy to purchase this set. But after series one, nothing played without video and audio glitches. Tried on different DVD players. No luck . Movie didn’t even seem to load. Oh, and yes, no magnets etc but I didn’t really care about that. I just wanted the complete collection that would play ( glitch free) in Canada. So disappointed. And can still return, so am doing so
