The Kodak Mini 2 Retro photo printer has completely elevated how I save and share memories. I am able to instantly print photos to share with my friends or family immediately. I enjoy being able to put current and up to date photos in my office of my little family and our fur babies. Connects easily to your phone via bluetooth. You can select any pictures you want to print and they print instantly! Takes about a minute for a photo to print. I am using this for scrapbooking and it works beautifully! Easy to change cartridge as well. Picture quality gives sort of old school vibes, not super clear but very cute if that’s what you’re going for.

I tested 4 portable printers side-by-side. This was the standout for my 12 year old. The second best in photo quality (to the Canon SELPHY QX10) with very good quality. The app and device is far easier for my 12 yo to manage and more features.I want so much to give this a 5-star rating, but finding the replacement paper and ink is nearly impossible. (Note…this is advertised by Bolo “with” the Zink paper as an add-on which is not the right paper. )If you don’t care about photo quality, Canon Ivy is a great option. Easy to use. Great app. Lots of extra features in the app. Quality is “decent enough” lacks clarity and often dark.Canon SELPHY QX 10 is the best quality, but only prints square format and is slightly more tricky to use…certainly not prohibitively difficult…just not as easy for a 12 yo. The prints can be stickers which I like far better than I thought I would. Fun to stick in journals, etc. paper is slightly easier to find.Instax printer was my least favorite for photo quality and usability, however, it uses the same paper as the instant cameras, so it is easy to find.

Excellent little device! Quick and easy to use. Photo quality is excellent although not quite as good as if professionally printed...I really don't think that matters tho as the size of the photos is small. As a sewer, I use it to print instant photos of my projects to put in my workbook/scrapbook and it is wonderful for this. Perfect size photos for wallets/purses. Charge seems to last a decent time and it is small enough to carry around with you, tho I'd kerp it on a flat surface whilst printing.

Constant paper jams and photograph damage on successful prints.
The printer worked well for the first few prints. Then the printer started causing damage to the corner of the photos, followed by constant paper jams in different stages of the printing. I speculate that a faulty or badly constructed part of the device was causing the bottom corner of the paper to get caught on something - causing the paper jams.The print quality was really good - but it's useless if the printer doesn't work at all, do not recommend this product at all.
