Some pieces are soft and chewy some are harder. I like when it’s soft. It’s hard to stop eating it especially since there is a ton of protein packed in with no added sugar. It does taste sweet and a little acidic like teriyaki. I need this taken away from me.

I have bought this same exact product from Bolo Fresh and it was so delicious. So I bought it again but not through Bolo fresh and This particular one was so disappointing and disgusting I had to throw the entire product out. It was not AT ALL what I had ordered before NEVER WILL I PURCHASE THIS FROM THIS VENDOR HORRIBLE HORRIBLE TASTE and a waste of my money

simple review:original flavor: awesome, no sugar, no artificial sweetener. Yes.hot n' spicy: too hot, i like hot things but this needs to be dialed back, unless i got an extraordinary hot pack. Pass.teriyaki: tates artificial and has a chemical aftertaste due to the sweetener. Pass.

This has been one of my favorite snack items for a while, so I was glad to find it at Bolo. The local stores don’t always carry it. It is low carb, yet tasty. The quality does tend to vary a bit. One bag will be a bit dry, while the next bag will be moist and tasty. Either way, it still works and I’m glad to be able to find it on Bolo for a reasonable price.

First off the flavor was phenomenal. It was a very subtle teriyaki flavor with some woodsy after notes to the flavor. It was all very subtle (which is what I personally prefer) and not in your face so the meat flavor could shine through. The flavor is what really made it for me, BUT everything else about this snack was below average.As someone on keto, it is extremely hard to find snacks I like that are low carb and also sugar free. I've had Tilamook's smoked a sausage meat before (a total recommendation btw) and so I thought to give this a try. Glad I did, but also not entirely sure I would order again. The only reason I would give this a try again would be due to it being extremely keto friendly, but here are the negatives I had.Texture - The texture was all over the place for me. Some pieces were very dry to the point where it cumbled in my mouth, some were so hard they almost felt like plastic, and some pieces were incredibly tender. A majority was on the drier side of the spectrum. I tend to like my jerky more on the tender side so that would have made it perfect.Amount - There wasn't a whole lot in the bag and it was over $10. Now I know jerky is expensive so I won't fault the price but it just didn't seem like a big bang for the buck sort of deal.The worst part of this was alot of the jerky was ground up into a fine powder. You can see from the pictures I provided that there wasn't really a whole lot of decent sized actual jerky pieces in the bag which was disappointing. Maybe I just got a bad bag. I may try the other flavors at some point in hopes that not all the bags will be like this, but to be honest was pretty disappointed.Overall, from what I could eat of this, I loved the flavor and not much else. Can only give this 3 stars. It's not the worst but wish there would have been more actual jerky pieces in the bag for the price.
