What a nice dvd set. I bought this for my grandson. He loves spirit so I thought this would be a great addition to his dvd collection. Each dvd has it's own spot. Very happy with this purchase.

My daughter (18 months) is absolutely in love with this show. We first saw it on Netflix and have watched all of the episodes many times over. It's a good show for all ages and seriously, what little girl isn't in love with horses. Even I can almost quote the show at this point, y'all. It's about a young well bred city girl, Lucky Prescott, daughter of railroad baron Jim, who moves from the big city to the wild frontier. Anyway, buying this set of episodes 1-4 was a no brainer. Now when we go for long car rides or stays at Nana's house she'll always have Spirit.

I watch this series with my daughter. We love it! It's about a city girl, her dad and aunt who move to the frontier to live and help build the railroad West. It's about building new friends, learning to ride a wild horse she befriends, adventures on the frontier, helping others, taking responsibility, facing dangers & fears, and going to school in a one room school house. She has two best friends who each have a horse with unique personalities. The horses don't talk but do have expressions. The animation is wonderful and pretty realistic. This series is a spin-off of "Spirit, Stallion of the Cimmarron.

My daughter age 12 loves this (she likes younger shows like this). But some scenes would be too scary/intense, or the conversations too mature for my 6-9 year olds (who still like Sesame Street, Little Bear, and Mister Rogers). Types of scenes: dynamite in a mountain, catching and taming wild horses, mother is deceased (girl raised by Dad, and his sister comes to help), girl wants to run away and join the circus, etc. Too much for my 6-9 year olds.

They offer this show on Netflix, but sometimes we don't have access to Netflix, but we do always have a dvd player, so that is why I bought this. I think its great to get all four seasons for the price compared to some other cartoon shows that are super expensive for just one season. I will probably buy this again for my friends daughter for her up coming birthday because she loves to watch it when she is over for playdates, but doesn't have Netflix at home.

My daughter loves the show however there are some issues with the characters lying to their parents which is really unnerving to me. Never should it be ok to lie to avoid the consequences of your actions so for that I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

I had no idea how big this was going to be. I bought it for my younger daughter because she loves horses, but my 6 year old daughter ended up being obsessed with it. Like “I want a Spirit cake and party for my next birthday” level obsessed. Highly recommend. It’s actually entertaining for adults too, and some educational things in there too.

Il dvd ha un blocco , funziona solo nella zona 1 , che credo di aver capito siano U.S.A. e Canada) con i lettori di dvd europei no. Immagino ci siano delle soluzioni per sbloccarlo, per ora la mia bambina e' rimasta molto delusa perche' gia' sapeva che gli episodi non erano in lingua italiana ma non si aspettava di non vederli proprio. Tra l' altro su Netflix la serie si interrompe alla seconda stagione con un episodio tutt' altro che utoconclusivo.....Pieno di tragica suspence a proposito della sorte dei personaggi....Aspettiamo l' "happy end" della serie e della situazione. :(
