I got these for a scrapbooking project and thought they were a great deal! I loved that it comes with multiple patterns and they cut well through thicker card stock and scrapbooking paper ( you just had to go a little slower). They are nice quality, the bright handles are cute and they were fairly east to use - the patterns were really nice to add a little interest to my project.

The unit I received was filthy as if someone had accidentally spilled a copious amount of dishwashing detergent. The overall appearance was seemingly horrible, but it did not smell bad or affect the scissors in anyway. Given the low price, I decided it was simply too much trouble and effort to return or exchange them. It undoubtedly would have cost more in fuel expense just to get to the nearest UPS store to drop them off. Nevertheless, they work as intended, are comfortable in my seasoned hands, work very well on various materials, are very easy to use with cutting pattern identification labeled clearly on each pair of scissors. They’re lightweight, surprisingly sharp, do NOT have a “cheap” feel to them, open and close with little effort, and store easily any drawer with their relatively small size. Also, the fun colors help to identify patterns when doing various projects at once. The scissors don’t appear to require any maintenance like lubrication or sharpening, so they shouldn’t stick at all. At the end of the day I got exactly what ordered. I just wish I had received a brand new set that wasn’t covered in foreign cleaning material that could have potentially contained a harmful abrasive. I have sensitive skin, so I had to clean them thoroughly before I was able to use them.

I used this to cut a photo and it broke in the middle of cutting it... the others are just as flimsy. Spend the extra money
