The hardware is very sturdy. It’s a nice black painted thick piece of metal. Went easy on my gate. The latch is smooth. It opens and closes nicely. Easy installation.

Hinge and gate mechanism work well but the screws provided leave much to be desired. I replaced the screws with higher quality ones and this has held up for over a year now
